    When rules and laws in place that go against consenting adults destroy the lives of people. Grant worked hard for his doctorate as a Physical Therapist. He moved into a small town with his office and also the local high school hired him as their PT. He's always followed the rules and laws set up to protect the young. But when 19 year old Samantha comes into his office with a badly sprained ankle after going on her daily run, little does he suspect that she is still in high school. Because of her age he assumes she is in college. That is a piece of information that Sam neglects to inform him about.
    He's attracted to her at first sight as she is with him. He knows he can't ask her out as long as she is under his care so he asks her out for 5 weeks down the road. He knows there's something special about her. But this attraction is so strong between the two of them that they can't wait even though he knows he shouldn't take the option of treating her at his house to keep it off the books because he can't just let her go. And this is where it all starts.
    Sam and her parents moved into the small town after her father got out of the Army and it was too late for her to start Kindergarten. So this is what causes her to be a senior at 19 years old. She becomes best friends with the boy next door. She loves Hunter as her BFF and they are together throughout the school years from kindergarten through seniors in high school. But Sam never noticed some of the things that Hunter did to keep other guys away from her.
    When she starts her relationship with Grant little do they suspect of the nightmare that is Hunter that is going to come their way. Plus his paying the police's involvement of her violation by someone that was supposed to love her.
    Grant essentially gets railroaded by the police, and district attorney because Hunter just so happens to be the son of the mayor of the town. Plus the police department has it's dirty cops.
    Grant and Sam's lives go into a turmoil. He goes to prison, Sam finds out shortly afterwards that she is carrying his baby. He's living a nightmare, she feels abandoned because he's returning her letters. She finds out after she has the baby that Grant is not aware they have a child.
    She is estranged from her family, Grant has lost everything and once he's out has to register as a sex offender. There is so much more that happens in this book that I don't want to give away anymore. This book is a MUST READ. There are so many emotions that you'll go through with the characters. It's hard to put the book down.

    I don't even know where to start with this one. It is a romance and it's most definitely steamy, but it's so much more than that. Indiscretion is a story of passion, coming of age, obsession, love, and coming out the other side of an ordeal to find your happiness. Normally, the high school student/adult in authority scenario would be a bit of an ick factor for me, but Sam is of age and the story is so well done. It's so different from other books on this topic. The book is well-written and emotional with so many touching moments between Grant and Sam, and there are some truly heart-wrenching moments. For those with triggers, there is reference to sexual assault. It's not overly graphic, but it is an upsetting scene. This is the first book that I've read from this author, but it won't be my last.

    I volunteered to read this Arc for an honest review. Really enjoyed this story about Grant and Samantha. The Story begins in present time when Grant and is in prison and Samantha shows up to confront him about why he never responded to her letters. Samantha is a young woman who at the time was in high school, even though she was 19, she received an ankle injury and goes to the doctor. That is where she meets dr. Grant Matthews, the new physical therapist. There's an instant chemistry between the two but since the doctor can't date or have any relationship with a client, they agreed to wait until after Samantha's physical therapies over in 4 weeks and go on a date. Grant when reading Samantha's file sees that she's 19 in the student, assume that she is a college student not a high school student. Sam is a very inexperienced girl her innocence calls to Grant. After agreeing to do the physical therapy at his home Sam and Grant start to pursue a relationship. Unfortunately for them Sam's best friend, Hunter who also happens to be your neighbor, is very possessive of her. He wants a relationship with her and has threatened everyone around it even looks at her, even asking her to go to prom then confessing his love to her. Sam is ticked and pushes them away lucky for her Grant is there. Unlucky for them Hunter has always got what he wanted and is determined to ruin Grant so he can have Sam. Follow them on the are crazy 10 months Hiatus from each other while Grant is in prison for just being in love with Sam. What happens when he gets out and things start to be revealed to both him and Sam about Hunter and his intentions. Can their love survive the stress of Hunter's manipulations? You want to root for this new little family. I definitely recommend reading the story.

    Timing is everything in life and love. Grant and Samantha meet after Sam gets the ankle she sprained running treated by Grant at his medical office. Their attraction for each other is instant yet Grant determines to take things slowly with sweet, innocent Sam. Once they declare their love for each other, one horrendous night destroys everything, tearing them from each other and keeping them apart for ten months. A lot has changed for both of them in that time, abut the one thing that tore them apart still poses a threat to any possible relationship.

This is the first book by this author I have read, but it won’t be the last the Cocky cage fighter series has just moved up to the top of my TBR pile. This book is amazing, I read it in one afternoon, I couldn’t put it down. This story was compelling, just as one things gets explained something else gets revealed and has your heart in your throat once more.

    This was a beautiful standalone, not very long. I liked this story, the turn of events but above all I liked the characters.
    I totally recommend this book, moreover in this edition it is comprised Jax as well. It's the first book of a series. I think that reading these two books will make you love Lane Hart and you'll start reading all her works!
