    This is a friend to lovers, a little bit of second chance of romance, featuring Sophie and Connor, two best friends who lost the touch when Sophie received the offer of her life. She is a singer, writing songs and singing them, while Connor was that type of a nerd who learned too much, but in the end, he is very successful and not a nerd type anymore, he is a great man, still loving Sophie and protecting her, he is an alpha male too. *wink*wink*

    What can I say, Sophie was really screwed up by her label, and the side characters who wanted to hurt Sophie and Connor made me very mad, why couldn’t they have an easy life after all they have went through. I would have liked to find out what happened to Aubrey. And also, I felt that the ending came too fast, like I would have liked to read more about Sophie and Connor in an epilogue, about their future, their family.

    This story kept entertained, the story flowed easily, one thing which I didn’t really like was how Sophie saw herself, unworthy and always trying to steer Connor away from her, to not damage his life, image, and company. It got annoying at some point.

    Should I talk a little bit of Connor too? Well, sincerely I was surprised that he turned like he is now, he gave me another vibe at the beginning, but he is intense and calculated, he has a good heart, and how he acts in the bedroom, well Sophie is one lucky lady.

    This story shows that the love of two people persists, even after they stay separated for a time, without any way of communication.

    I love reading this authors books, I was first introduced to finer with reading Burning Bridges and She has a way to emotionally bring your through her characters broken past and then bring you whole again. Sophie wanted to be the next big pop singer and had the drive for it. But she left her love Conner behind to pursue her happiness. But, things don’t come around as plan, now she is back disgraces with her tail tucked between her legs. Wanting to finish her college degree. She needs a job and ends up working for the man she left behind. What could go wrong? The chemistry is there, the angst, slowly but surely. All the ingredients of a heart wrenching story..

    Sophie was sitting in front of the counselor trying to sign up for college classes. She was a 27 year old, washed up pop star who dropped out of college with only has 1 semester remaining to get her degree.

    Connor was speaking with one of his students when a ghost from his past caught his attention. He would bet his life it was Sophie even though she had left without any goodbyes when she left for the west coast for her singing career. After several unanswered calls and finally her blocking his number, he tried to forget her which is darn hard when she's on the cover of every magazine and all over the radio.

    I LOVED THIS STORY!!! Sophie is beat down from the lies and greed of her record label. Connor is not only a gorgeous alpha male, but he has spent the last five years building the authority in green construction. The sex in this book is beyond smoking hot. Just W.O.W. The storyline is wonderful and all of the characters are well developed. This book has greed, betrayal, jealousy, and did I mention hot hot sex.

    My only complaint is that someone didn't get punished for her part in everything Sophie and Conner had to endure. There is no way raised woman has any redeemable qualities to have a happily ever after. But,, I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more books from Ivy Wild!

    Little things changed from page to page like reading a magazine to reading a newspaper in same scene. Didn't effect the story but was annoying.
    It was not believable that Conner changed from a nice guy to an sexually aggressive one in 5 years or why Sophie would put up with it.
    But the story line and how she was going to get her life back kept my interest.

    For lost times. With the amount of spice, it seems like rabbits were their spirit animal.

    The plot and story itself was great to start and the ending was shorter than expected. I feel a bit of a let down. I was actually interested in Skyler’s and Xavier’s story a bit more.

    Second book written by Wild and I think I like her. :) looking forward to reading the next one on this series.

    This isn’t my first book by Ivy Wild and it won’t be my last. I met Sophie and Connor in Brightly Burning Bridges. I always wonder about their story and now I have it. I loved the plot as it was a little different than normal. The storyline was a little choppy. The characters are developed and easily relatable. Their chemistry was hot including the light bdsm. I love the author’s writing style. I can’t wait to go back and read book 1 in this series.

    Holy hot flash Batman! Connor is incredible! Don't get me wrong, I loved Silas, but Connor is something else. Pure alpha, total boss, an absolute dream. 😍

    Sophie made me so nervous throughout part one. I kept worrying she was gonna take off on the poor man. It was interesting to see things from Aubrey's POV, it made it all the easier to hate her. Not that it was hard. She was icky.

    If you don't like high octane emotions you should avoid this one, Ivy is a total sorceress with heartstrings. Everything she writes pulls you in and holds you hostage. It's nearly impossible to walk away once you get started. I'm always blown away.

    Incredible read, you've gotta jump in to this series!

    So it appears I'm reading this series backwards, it's okay though they are all standalones.

    What can I say about Infamous?......it was an absolute ride! The emotional rollercoaster that Ivy takes you on is incredible.
    The sex is steamy, the characters love with a passion that reads amazing.
    Sophie and Connor's chemistry is legit fire.
    The art work throughout the book is absolutely beautiful.

    I throughly enjoyed Infamous, and I'm seriously going to miss these characters.
