    Blaze is a Fireblood elemental who felt a connection to Kayla from the first minute he was her. Just like in the first book these males start out looking for a female that will unlock their power, what they actually find at fated mates that will ultimately mean more to them than the powers they seek to achieve. Kayla is one of the original ladies that we saw in the first book and at the end her and her twin are snatched by the lizard aliens to be sold. Kayla is sold to a zoo and is put on display. Blaze sets off to find her and when he sees her he knows beyond the shadows of a doubt that she belongs to him. He gets himself into the zoo and when they see one another the fires burn 🔥brightly, you could say the blaze between them.. It's an adventure, there is danger , mystery and so much passion it's very much sight reading. I actually like this book even more than the first one Blaze's realization that Kayla means more to him than anything else is wonderful to watch and Kayla is strong and fierce with a fire all her own they are a perfect match💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

    Blaze is on a mission to save the woman he thinks can unlock his potential. He thought it was her twin but when he found out that it was Kayla he set out to save her at no cost.
    This was a great story. It took a powerful connection between them to get through what they did. But I'm very grateful to Miranda Bridges and Kyra Snow for not going with the option of going overboard with triggers left and right. So I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK to readers that HAVE TRIGGER reactions. Yes, they are in a zoo exhibit, but the MASTER put a NO penetration rule which saved the ulcers going with a big trigger book. In my opinion, this is very low on my trigger meter so low I give it a 0.

    I am enjoying this series but the continual use of the F-bomb gets very tiring. It not only gets boring to read but it also makes the characters seem dumb since they can’t think of another word to use. It’s effectiveness diminishes with the frequency and the sentences would be stronger with its absence. I get that some authors think the expletive is needed to get the emotions across but it really doesn’t work as well as giving the emotions needed with other words.

    The other reason for the 3 stars is the use of a c-word for a female body part. It’s used often yet it seems very demeaning at times. Most of the time. It makes the male seem crass and not respectful of the woman he knows is his fated mate.

    The story is very good except for these two things. I hope the authors read this and adjust and increase their vocabulary.

    This is the 2nd book of the Elemental Series featuring the FireBloods. It tells what happened to Kayla and how she got separated from her twin, Khloe. Kayla got sold to a zoo where the Master collected all types of exotic creatures to be viewed by his clients. She finally is rescued by Blaze once he realizes that she not her sister is his true mate. Their interactions set the pages on fire.

When nothing happens, she tells him, that probably her twin sister Kayla is the right one. So Blaze sets off to the planet Guldoor to retrieve Kayla and rescue the other abducted women .....
    I enjoyed reading this book. The Elemental Mates series is fun so far. When two dominant characters like Kayla and Blaze clash together, it results in lots of passion and action. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next installment in this series.
