    I am so in love with Dex and Kaia #Kailan. This story had me laughing, fanning my face, and tearing up from the angst. Dex and Kaia had such great chemistry. Whether they were fighting (which was a lot!) laughing, or sexing, it was all so so good!

    Swype house is home to some of the biggest social media influencers out there. Kaia has been asked to join Swype house LA. Unfortunately for her, not everyone wants her there aka Dex. But after a series of events Dex finds himself in a fake relationship with Kaia. And of course, what starts off fake, quickly turns real. Both Kaia and Dex are bad at communicating with their mouths, but their actions speak louder than words. I highly enjoyed watching these two fall for each other.

    Not only were Dex and Kaia awesome characters, so were all the other influencers in the house. The triple T’s, Lux, Maisee, Oakley, Rhys, Nate of course daddy Beau were fantastic. They all easily entertained me and pulled into their world. If not for my kids I would have finished this story in one sitting.

    This is a standalone enemies to lovers/close proximity romance. It is sweet, sexy, funny and has the perfect HEA. I cannot wait for the next book in this series! If you're a KC fan, there’s a little easter egg in the epilogue. It legit blew my mind and I am so there for it!!!

    Took me a bit, but in the end, I really enjoyed it and am super looking forward to the next book in the series!

    Kaia is an influencer from Michigan who gets invited to move to LA to live in "Swype House", a place for some of the country's hottest influencers live, hang out, and, for lack of a better word, influence. Kaia gets off on the wrong foot with Declan, one of the other house guests and things between them go downhill from there. Eventually, they decide on a fake relationship to repair bad press, but feelings become involved and with neither of them talking about how they really feel, dominoes are set up to fall.

    Overall, I really enjoyed the storyline. It was definitely different and nothing I've seen before, but completely relevant to the TikTok culture we have going on. Kaia is great. Super sweet, tries to not be a doormat, just wowed by the fact that she's there and gets to do these cool things. Declan took a while for me. He came across as mean and pretty petulant at first, but you did get the emotional growth needed to make his character work in the end. Their hate to lovers smexual chemistry offset the slow burn nature of the story and by the time they got together it seemed like it had all been foreplay, lol. I did feel like the ending was a bit rushed. It checked the boxes we needed, but could have been a bit more. The epilogue/teaser for the next book will definitely thrill any true Kelsey Clayton fan out there. Definitely worth your time time read!

    Kaia gets the opportunity of a lifetime and is determined to make the best of it. After arriving at the Swype house her first encounter with Declan had left them both feeling less then excited to be living with each other. After a series of events and pranks gone wrong Declan's social media following starts to drop, a lot! He convinces Kaia to fake date him but after awhile they both start to feel like they aren't having to fake it so much anymore.

    The chemistry between the two of them was explosive whether they were fighting or loving.. I was hooked either way!

    Influenced had me entertained from beginning to end :) And needing more from the incredible side characters we meet In the book

    There isn't one thing from the story of Dex and Kaia that I did NOT effing love. Maybe I read too many dark and j/p books but, reading a series with a social media storyline isn't one I have encountered and I am 1000% here for it!
    Dex and Kaia...the jerk and the sweetheart. Enemies to fake lovers to real lovers. Their insecurities screaming so loudly that they can't even see the clear writing on the wall. The classic case of "doesn't communicate effectively".
    Love their dynamic. How Dex goes from a complete jerk to the most mushy & romantic ever. And let's not forget all the humor. Lost track of how many times I had to muffle my laughter so I didn't wake my husband (because I clearly stayed awake in bed all night reading this book).
    Not only do I love the main characters, but I loved "meeting" all of the supporting characters and can't wait to see who is in Book 3.
    1000% recommend! Time to go reread Hendrix (it's been a hot minute) to be ready for Rhys' book. Only thing I am unhappy about is that I have to wait UNTIL 2023 FOR THEIR STORY TO COME OUT. Write faster, Kelsey!

    When I saw Kelsey Clayton was starting a new series I knew it was going to be awesome and this booked lived up to that and so much more!!
    This is the first book I have ever read with the kind of social media influence and it is absolute gold such an original concept and it was handled so well touching on the whole cancel culture was spot on.

    The story between Kaia and Dex was amazing but oh how things would have been simpler for them if they just talked, I mean every single person saw it but them and I'm really happy they found their way back to each other.

    The only thing that didn't make me happy was reading the epilogue and realising I have to wait till next year to see what happens with Rhys because I got so excited when I saw Mr. Hendrix, Colby is back!!!

    I have read every book from Kelsey Clayton and I can't wait for all her new releases. Can't recommend this Author and higher every book has been amazing and different she definitely puts her own spin on things.

    I was so excited when she announced this new series and I was not disappointed. This book made me laugh out loud, cry and rage which is what I love to happen while I’m reading.

    Living in a house filled of influencers you would expect it to be drama filled. While it is, you see how they have turned their living arrangements into something else, they become a family.

    While competing to keep the interest of followers, they will jump in and help when they are needed.

    The love story between Dex and Kaia is a story I didn’t know I needed but so lucky I got to go through this journey with them.
