- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2008The two best features of this book: It's geared completely towards beginners. The author spends a lot of time driving this point home, but you really don't need to have financial knowledge to start investing. You can learn the basics from this book (or other sources), then broaden your knowledge as you go. This book is written for Canadians and focuses on investments from a Canadian perspective. If you've ever tried finding something like this at Chapters, you know how tough it can be.
Positives:
-A light read.
-Simple, straightforward explanations of financial products and markets.
Negatives:
-A light read (if you're looking for in-depth knowledge, move on).
