    Omg, I love the way that the author worked this story. I have not read this authors books before so this is my first book by her. I started this book thinking ok I will read a little before bed. Laughing to myself this was a mistake because I couldn't stop reading. Bravo this book was awesome.

    Let me jump right in by saying I really enjoyed this book. Ria has been through a lot in her life and has a very hard time trusting strangers, Jax also has trust issues due to his last relationship. I love the chemistry between Jax and Ria. I like how this book touches on a traumatic subject without going overboard. This book really has it all with love, action, and drama.

    The author’s words flowed well and kept me turning the pages. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but this book definitely has some twists and turns along with a few surprises. This is the first book of Penny Anglene’s that I have read but it won’t be the last.

    This is the first book I have ever read from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a good story that had some meat to it. It just feels like there are a few things still hanging out there like what is going on with Debbie, Ria's best friend? Hopefully we will find out more in future books. She introduces quite a few interesting characters that could definitely have their own story line. It will be interesting to see if she keeps the books intertwined/crossover or if they are all more of a separate story. Personally I hope for the former. All in all it was a quick, good and interesting read. I will definitely keep an eye out for her books.

    This is a great story. Ria and her best friend Debbie has quite the start. They're both taken at a young age and after getting away they have a tough time starting over. Debbie surprises Ria with an appointment at Ink Fusion's. This is where she meets Jax and their journey is HOT and HEAVY. They fall for each other quickly. It's not an easy road especially since Jax's brother interferes and Rias's past comes back to haunt her. This story doesn't lack all the feels that's for sure. It's an all consuming read.

    It's not often I find a brand new author - for a debut novel this one was quite entertaining. I found myself wanting to know more about the characters, even minor ones. I truly appreciated the content warning the author gave readers before starting. This book took several turns, some catching you by surprise. It was fast paced overall, I would enjoy an unabridged version especially of the last few chapters. They were rather exciting. I hope to see more of the main characters story in later books! A very entertaining debut novel.
