    A great ending to a good series. The God in question this time is Osiris, the Egyptian God. This makes for a great mystery about how different Gods of different religions were linked.
    The team finally finds the tomb of eternity, but not before getting their asses kicked on multiple occasions.
    And the strange group called the Athanatoi also make an appearance in this book.

    The story is interesting but the plot and action are duplicates of previous stories. Basically the same story with a different setting and characters. The action scenes are overdone and unbelievable. The constant wisecracking in the face of disaster is tiresome and detracts from the story.

The first Joe Hawke book I read I quite enjoyed but I'm struggling with the series. The plot line in itself is ok, but I actually struggle with the characters and the childish bickering / or supposed banter that they have amongst themselves. I just find it really annoying and somewhat distracting. That said I will persevere and perhaps update my post if I get to the end.
