The Tomb of Eternity (Joe Hawke Book 3) Kindle Edition
Amazon UK #1 Military Thriller,
“Great read. I really enjoyed this book, a great start to a new series.”
“Top notch action-adventure book. Excellent adventure book with plenty of action and suspense - the story idea is great too. It’s well edited - Rob Jones is a name to remember.”
“Similar type of adventures to Andy McDermott and Scott Mariani.”
THE TOMB OF ETERNITY is the third and final part of the ‘immortality arc’ and sees former Special Forces soldier Joe Hawke and the rest of the team face a lethal enemy who will stop at nothing in the epic hunt for the oldest secret in the world.
As the struggle to discover the elixir of life draws to its furious conclusion, Hawke fights against the clock in a desperate search for the dark truth about not only the source of eternal life but also his wife’s savage murder, and what he discovers shocks him to his core.
From the storming of a Moscow mansion in a Russian blizzard, to a high-octane speedboat race through the winding canals of Venice to a savage firefight in the Giza pyramid complex in Egypt, Joe Hawke must destroy both a brutal enemy and his own inner demons if he is to have any chance of moving on from his damaged past.
Joe Hawke will return in THE CURSE OF MEDUSA in early 2016.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2017This final part of the immortality series didn't disappoint. It was a worthy successor to the two action packed action books that preceded it - The Vault of Poseidon and Thunder God.
It's rare for an author in this genre to write great action scenes, make exotic (and not so exotic) locations come to life, build a great story arc AND use well developed characters to deliver the story. Rob Jones does this all very nicely and is an author well worth following.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2017A great ending to a good series. The God in question this time is Osiris, the Egyptian God. This makes for a great mystery about how different Gods of different religions were linked.
The team finally finds the tomb of eternity, but not before getting their asses kicked on multiple occasions.
And the strange group called the Athanatoi also make an appearance in this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2018More action than you can shake a stick at. Great stories. Awesome characters. Loved the whole series. Can’t wait for The Kings Tomb. I read all 9 novels back to back. It’s the best way!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2017Enjoyed the book with all the leading characters and the plots and subplots within. Still has to many car chases for my taste but always enjoy a little history thrown in when chasing bad guys around the globe.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2022Rob Jones is among those few writers who can craft a story in such a manner that you already know the ending. THEN YOU DON’T! Twists and turns are the norm and Mr. Jone is a master craftsmen and story teller. I’m now on to book 4. P.S. Don’t jump into the middle of this tale or you will miss all the dots that must be connected.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2017The story is interesting but the plot and action are duplicates of previous stories. Basically the same story with a different setting and characters. The action scenes are overdone and unbelievable. The constant wisecracking in the face of disaster is tiresome and detracts from the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2020Another great book in the series and can't wait for the rest. Better than anything on TV and worth reading
- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2021This book continues the journey of Joe Hawke and his new team of adventurer warriors. this is as good as any of the alleged popular mainstream novels with the similar characters

4.0 out of 5 stars Enthralling !
If you like action books which do not require a great deal of concentration, but provide a pleasant escape, then Rob Jones' first three Hawke books are definitely for you.
I really enjoyed them and am looking forward to more from Mr. Jones.

4.0 out of 5 stars Part of a great trilogy, great on their own.
Really enjoyed this read, love the Joe Hawke character, love the fact that he is quite flawed but very human too and endearing. I have now read the trilogy of Joe Hawke books and they are great thrillers/action adventure reads in a similar nature to Scott Mariani and Andy Mc Dermott. Would recommend these books to lovers of action and adventure, edge of the seat stuff. Enjoy

5.0 out of 5 stars A great rip roaring adventure
This was a really good book to read. Lots of twists and turns with mystery organisations and individuals to keep the reader hooked. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and have already purchased additional books in the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars The first Joe Hawke book I read I quite enjoyed but I'm struggling with the series
I'm still reading this but thought I would right the review now as I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to finish it. That in itself speaks volumes. The first Joe Hawke book I read I quite enjoyed but I'm struggling with the series. The plot line in itself is ok, but I actually struggle with the characters and the childish bickering / or supposed banter that they have amongst themselves. I just find it really annoying and somewhat distracting. That said I will persevere and perhaps update my post if I get to the end.
