The Secret of Atlantis (Joe Hawke Book 7) Kindle Edition
Amazon UK #1 Military Thriller,
“Similar type of adventures to Andy McDermott and Scott Mariani.”
“Great read. I really enjoyed this book, a great start to a new series.”
“Top notch action-adventure book. Excellent adventure book with plenty of action and suspense - the story idea is great too. It’s well edited - Rob Jones is a name to remember.”
In the seventh action adventure thriller from the bestselling Amazon author Rob Jones, everything changes for Joe Hawke and the ECHO team as they finally come face to face with their ultimate nemesis.
Following from the events of The Aztec Prophecy (Joe Hawke 6), and with explosive action and high-octane chases, Hawke and the team must navigate through treacherous waters to secure a stolen artifact that could lead them to the greatest archaeological treasure of them all – Atlantis.
But as they race from their secret Caribbean island stronghold to start their quest they soon realize this is their toughest battle yet and must move faster than ever if they are to survive. From the tunnels beneath Vienna to Munich’s Oktoberfest to the ancient mountains and canyons of Morocco, Hawke and his friends encounter terrible enemies from their past as they fight harder than ever for the truth, but along the way they lose a member of the team forever and Elysium comes under savage attack from an unlikely traitor.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2021Sometimes the dumb bantering between characters annoys me but overall a good premise. I would recommend this for your next read.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2019Joe Hawke and ECHO return for their toughest and most personal story yet as they are pursued by enemies old and new, while the mysterious Oracle finally makes their move in a story brimming with action and an ending that leaves you waiting for the next book. Well done again Mister Jones (and I don’t mean ‘Indiana’).
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2020The search for the mystical Atlantis is on. Joe Hawke and his group take on the search for Atlantis as their adventures continues.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2017I hope the author continues this series forever! Each book is just great! May Joe Hawke continue his great adventures!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2019Good read if you like action coupled with history and archeology. I got hooked on the first book and plan on finishing the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2017Another great thriller with Joe Hawke, Lea, and my favorite, Scarlet.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2017Let me start by saying that my expectations with this book were very very high.
I went in hoping knowing some more about the Athanatoi and definitely more about the involvement of Atlantis.
Well, I was surprised with what happened with the latter. About how little it mattered, which I guess made the mystery even better. So thumbs up on that.
On the former, I was very disappointed to know who the Oracle was. The surprise element about these reveals is their biggest selling point. And it works well if a person known to the readers for some amount of time turns out to be the villain. In this case, the guy had made his entry in that same book, and he turns out to be the oracle. How is that any different from any other guy in the whole world turning out to be the oracle. I would been more pleased to see the President or Brooke or even Eden as the oracle. At least readers would have been forced to re-evaluate and re-read whatever they had read in all the books about them.

5.0 out of 5 stars The secret of Atlantis
As I had expected great characters and great story line. What I hadn't expected was more softness in the characters, due to there friends being killed, after all that's what they do. As Steve McQueen famously said in the magnificent seven 'we live and deal friend'.
Great read look forward to the next book.
Keep it up........
