I totally enjoyed this book. It held my attention from beginning to end. There were a few confusing things, but overall it was really good. Tessandra is a very complex person and a good fit with the guys. Learning their extra abilIties was fun. This book has suspense, romance, confusion, breakouts and explosions. I hope book two still features the same group because I would love to spend more time with them. Enjoy! 💙💛💜💚

Where do i start...this needed i don't know fleshing out, more character and plot development i really liked the first half of the book we were getting to know the characters..

But when we find out about her and the guys powers it just feels rushed and things go down hill fast its all very confusing and there were to many holes in the plot eg nothing gets answered about anything! The storyline with Tori is so far fetched, oh and Shaun and Peter suddenly have mind control powers bam and does the mc ask questions after the showdown in the kitchen no, no she does not! Then it just ends so suddenly.

I was apprehensive about this book but I’m so glad I took a chance on it. Tessa just can’t catch a break. Finding out she’s adopted, being bullied by the Mean Girls, having her “cousin” not only sent her car but to be the one behind all her problems then finally finding her home with the guys only to have it ripped away not once but twice! Will Tessa never get her HEA?? I look forward to reading the second book and seeing how the guys get Tessa back and hopefully beating the tar out of Peter. Great read for a first time author!

A decently written first book. My attention was captured enough that I couldn't stop reading until I finished.

It does give a bit of a feeling as though written by committee or at least dueling personalities. The initial build sets you up to expect certain characters to play a major role in the trials the MC faces but after a few chapters... they are the least of her worries.

The language is rough and abrasive in the first part of the book... and then it seems that the MC has gone British with some of her terms... and then I felt I was in Canada due to the same things. And maybe that's where I was supposed to be. It just didn't feel like that was where the book was going at the beginning.

Excellent bones. Perhaps a bit too much crammed into the first book. It may leave future books scrambling to find the place where they belong but all in all, a good read with decent enough writing.

This is a great first book from this author, a bit rushed in places but nothing that won't resolve itself with some more practice in her next book. Very interesting plot which leaves enough unanswered questions to leave you DYING for the next book. Overall great job!

What can I say about this book...

Honestly it’s a 3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 rating for me. It’s a YA RH, not quite paranormal but not quite sci-fi either. It’s a relatively quick read but still written well. I enjoyed it enough to continue to read the rest of the series.

The storyline is good but very easy to read between the lines. The antagonists are easy to pick out and the correlation between her fathers identity isn’t really a secret especially when it’s “vaguely” confirmed at the end. Whenever there is something that needs to be solve I like to be kept guessing until the very last minute so I can enjoy the surprise but that’s just me!

Our main characters are good I feel like they fit together very well. Their insta-love is sweet and fast ... I don’t think I need to say any more, but remember it’s a YA so a few innuendos not much physical going on! If you like TVD chances are you like this one!

I did enjoy this book but I felt that it jumped around a bit. This was the author's first book and it does show. I will still read book 2 as I think the series and the author have potential
