My last novel got savaged by critics so brutally, I fled to Eagle's Nest to lick my wounds and write something that would shut them up.     Lindsey is a romance writer that is struggling with her latest book. She moved into a rundown mansion an aunt left her so she could do sohired.me writing. When Lindsey comes across Scott aka Ethan in her bathtub, she mistakes him for the handyman she hired. Scott let's her believe that so he would be able to hide from his past. Scott was framed for a crime he didn't commit, and he is trying to prove his innocence. Its not long before they give into temptation with each other. Things start to unravel when Lindsey learns about his past. Will she end things with him. Will he be able to prove his innocence?

    This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

    I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. A sweet and steamy love story with some twists. Lindsey is trying to get back on track and the inheritance gives her that break she needs. Ethan's attempts at clearing his name are complicated to say the least. These two cannot deny the attraction that they feel and soon they are working together on both of their problems. I thought the story was a good one, with enough drama and suspense to go along with the romance. Ethan was just who she needed in her life but he didn't want to hurt her

    Interesting short story. Lindsey is a romance writer that ends up going to her Aunts had left her. Her last book didn't get very good reviews. Ethan has been camping out in the summerhouse on the property because he's jumped bail and is trying to prove his innocence and false accusations of being a drug dealer. Lindsey thinks that Scott (Ethan) is the handyman sent over to work around her house. There is an immediate attraction between them and once they act on that attraction there is steam fogging up the window. I love how Lindsey finds the evidence to give to Chase, Ethan's brother. This is a short story with some steam and an author (Lindsey) who redeems herself with her next book. Great HEA.

    This is a cute quick read with some good suspense. The characters were great, with some good chemistry, and a really good ending. I really think you'll enjoy this book as much as I did. Happy reading.

    The author has given us a heart pounding story that pulls us into the lives of Scott/Ethan and Lindsey and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with suspense, secrets and love.

    Jail Break is fast read that a bit of danger, a twist of suspense, wrong identify that takes you on a fast ride to uncover the truth and finding love.

    Ethan had returned home and was laying low, till he could collect enough evidence to clear his name. What he did not expect was Lindsey, a writer, who took over a run-down place left to her. When she saw Ethan in the outdoors tub, she though he was someone else.

    Hold on tight this fast read takes you on a wild ride.

    JailBreak is another addition to the Coogan’s Break Series. Hope Malone has an interesting town in Coogan. A local ex-con, Ethan Hunter, is trying to prove his innocence of a drug crime he did not commit. He takes refuge in an abandoned house. Only discovering the house is not abandoned after all. The owner’s niece, Lindsey Abbott, has recently taken charge of the house. Lindsey is trying to recover from bad reviews of her last book. She is struggling with a few scenes, until she discovers her mystery quest.
