- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2019Beautiful story to read with your child! Since picking up this book, my 2nd grader requests to read it a lot!! This book was well designed for her to read by herself... which had promoted self reading on her own time. Highly recommend this book for young children, girls and boys!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2019Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseA sweet story about Princes Jellybean, the multi-coloured cat. She helps Penelope Possum when she runs into some trouble. A great story teaching kids important life lessons, such as asking for help.
And I just think the character is really cute too :)

Jellibean is a cat. She is off on her day, full of adventures. Jellibean meets Penelope, a friendly possum, who is lost, so Jellibean sets out to help Penelope find her home. As they were walking they became good friends, talked about their favourite books, and made up a little fun song to sing along the way. They met 3 friendly birds, and Jellibean asked if they could help, but they were being a bit silly and they didn't make any sense. However one decided that he might be able to help and he picked up the clue that could lead back to Penelopes home. Jellibean and Penelope then both started piecing together all these clues, one clue after another until Penelope remembered certain things, which lead her back home.
This is Book 2 of the Jellibean Adventures. I really enjoyed this book for children. It teaches the child to ask for help. To be more aware of what's going on in the world. The illustrations are simple and to the point and not too confusing to a child, so the child can instantly relate from words to the picture. The book has one page of text and then one page of illustrations. The illustrations were clear, bright and simple, just what you need for a child.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2018Sweet story! Princess Jellibean, who loves to read, is finally on an adventure she’s been waiting for: visiting the world outside her kingdom. She reads books, sketches sightings, and even makes some new friends.
Looking forward to more of Jellibean’s adventures!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2018Goodeaux's character Princess Jellibean has lots to learn and her natural curiosity allows readers to find themselves thinking and wondering about the possibilities of imagination. Perhaps it will even encourage them to discover a love for reading for themselves!
