Jet has finally made it as a bass player in a successful band, but he’s plagued with a past he’d rather forget. When Quinn, the band’s PR representative, falls ill, Jet looks after her, and a connection begins to bloom.
This book takes you on a steamy romance ride from enemies to lovers, while skillfully interweaving the seven deadly sins. It’s as much about overcoming trauma as it is about romance in a tasteful and delicate way. It can be read as a stand alone!
If you like contemporary romance or women’s fiction, you will love this!

Tough & touching background for this story. A young boy who lost his older sister when she was only six years old, a mother that married a man that was a pedophile in disguise.
He threatened her son with loss of his prized possession, his guitar in exchange for sexual favors. Finally this innocent boy could not take the abuse any longer. At thirteen, he packed a backpack & his guitar that his beloved mother gave him. She had passed away so he treasured the memory of their music.
Living on the streets, in alleys was scary. He made friends with a man that owned a diner. Mack fed any & all homeless people he could. He gave Jethro a room off the streets, food to eat & hired him to wash dishes in exchange.
As he grew up & made friends with other musicians. He changed his name to Jet to avoid being found by his cruel stepdad.
The band grew in popularity, their songs were heard by some music executives.
A record contract was negotiated, agents were hired.
They toured, their fan base evolved to thousands.
Love helped all the members mature, improve their music & their popularity grew.
Threats of exposure, Jet's past came back to haunt him.
Guaranteed to make you want to hear more of their adventures!

The subject matter of this story is one that needs to be told often until it is no longer a dirty little secret. Until the victims live in the light.

There’s more to Jet than a cocky rockstar. Underneath that sexy facade lies an insecurity most wouldn’t understand. Then Quinn walks into his life. Miss Independent and strong. It isn’t that he doesn’t want to fall in love, it’s that he doesn’t know how. Can Jet stop fighting the demons of his past and trust what he feels for Quinn? A heart-twisting, soulful romance that’s so worth the read. This author spins a story with multi-dimensional characters that live and breath from the page. The perfect second story to The Sinful Seven!

Wow, just wow! Jett and Quinn are two of my favorite characters ever. Jet is so tormented within his own mind, even though nothing was his fault. Quinn was strong, loyal, and resilient. She helped jet see just how amazing he is. I can’t wait to read Willow’s story.

how are we going to get there? That's the question that kept me reading until the tablet said the battery was almost gone. I got to the last before it gave out by a hair. A sensitive subject well handled. Good read.

This is the second book in the series. Though it can be read as a stand alone, it’s much better as part of the series.
Jet is the bass player for the group. He is fighting some serious demons from his past. His PR person,Quinn, wants to release some interviews with each member of the band but he’s afraid. He does not want to disclose his past. Somehow, Quinn has turned from enemy to love interest and Jet needs to figure out what he wants.
    Opinion
My heart absolutely breaks for Jet. His back story is so sad. This book embraces how love can change you and Quinn certainly helps Jet change. Have a box of tissues ready.

5.0 out of 5 stars Power of love

Quinn had an idyllic childhood. Now the sassy PR agent has the perfect job, working exclusively with a hot rock band as they tour America. Her only problem is Jet, the handsome and brooding bassist. He doesn't want anyone raking the coals of the living hell from which he escaped as a teenager, and that includes Quinn.

Gradually, Quinn's tough love wins Jet over. Yet can even she help him when the demons of the past return?

Sweet, steamy and redemptive, this is truly a story about the power of love. It's a book that's easy to pick up and hard to put down.

This book covers heavier topics but does so in a way that it doesn't get overwhelmed on the enormity of those issues but looks to make small impacts to help an individual at a time.

A rock and roll romance, that is written with both bite and passion. There is far more to Jet than Quinn initially understands. As the pages turn, there is a rising crescendo of pure, unadulterated, no-holds-barred passion. Rock, roll and a rather well-written romance that will have you hot under the collar.
