There are so many great things about this book that I love and that I have not seen in any other rocker romance books. I love the heavy emotional aspect of this book. I NEVER cry while reading book...okay I do get choked up and my eyes tend to sting, but hardly ever are there actual tears...this book has made my list of ugly cry books.     I absolutely LOVED this rock star romance book. I have had this book on my kindle for ages and I finally decided to read it and oh my goodness was it worth the wait.

    There are so many great things about this book that I love and that I have not seen in any other rocker romance books. I love the heavy emotional aspect of this book. I NEVER cry while reading book...okay I do get choked up and my eyes tend to sting, but hardly ever are there actual tears...this book has made my list of ugly cry books. I cried not once but twice!!! I like that Zack is not your bad boy rocker that you just love to hate. His character is so amazing. Sure he did use his fame in the beginning, but he has grown past that. I like that all the usual things you expect to happen, don't. There was never a part of this book that I just wanted to skip over to get to the next. The flow and pace of it kept me sucked in and really wanted to know what would happen next. A lot of times I just did not see it coming, but I loved how it all would work out. I also loved that we got a few bits told in Zack's POV, I LOVE a great male POV!

    So, this book starts off with the female lead deciding that she is going to try and move on with her life after a horrific accident claimed the lives of her husband and son. She decides that they wouldn't want her to be living the non-life she has been living. A night of expanding her comfort zone leads to her meeting the next phase in her life.

    Zack Walters is just tired of being used for his fame and status. He wants someone to want him for who he is and now what he does for a living. When we first meet him and his friend Jake you can tell he is a little put out and doesn't trust that Nicole has no idea who he is. When they do realize that she is indeed genuine, well lets just say it is the beginning of an awesome story.

    I really enjoyed getting caught up with these characters and their story. Both Zack and Nicole are excellent characters and so easy to fall in love with. This book is a must read and I am just so glad that I finally read it. I will now have to read Just One Week when I get the chance...I need to know what is going on with Mia and Chase.

    I read Just One Song and Just One Week in the same day. For me, Just One Song was definitely the better read of the two. All of the characters were nicely developed and more than one dimensional. I don't believe that the band members were your typical lot of rock stars. Yes, they partied and slept around but there was so much more to them than that and once they found their forever girl the sexcapades abruptly ended. Now, does this represent any rock stars of today? I really don't know but these guys, all but one, were really good, kind, loving and caring people. I was drawn to them in a big way. They were not only a band, they were family, brothers if you will. So is this worth the read...YES most definitely.

    Nicole Parsons had, what she considered, the perfect life. A wonderful, loving husband and a precious four-year-old son. But, one evening the loves of her life were brutally taken from her and this story is about her horrific grief and the man who gave her life again along with a best friend, Mia, who stuck by her through thick and thin. A sister of her heart.

    One evening at a bar that her friend drug her to, Nic meets the hottie rock star, Zack Walters, on a dare from Mia. Nicole hasn't a clue who he is and Zach is immediately drawn to her. He is so used to people trying to get to know him because they want something from him and it is a pleasant relief to meet someone who has no idea he is a rock god.

    This is a wonderful story of healing, second chances and a love so deep it almost hurts.

    I absolutely and completely recommend this book!

    Nicole has had it tough when the worst kind of tragedy hits her life, she basically shuts down for months at a time, until one night she cant even take anymore of her own sadness and decides that going out with her very best friend Mia and putting a smile on her face, all be it a fake smile, will make everything better.

    Zack is a all round great guy, hot as all get out and so very interested in the woman who has no idea who he really is, so she doesnt want him for his money or star status.
    Zack is a true friend to his band members and doesnt have the usual baggage or huge ego most book rock stars have, no great problem being hounded by groupies like the usual plot line for rock star books. He loves the music and his band is grateful of the living it provides and wants nothing more than to have a woman who sees him, just him.

    The way that Zack handles the family situation with Nicole was beautifully written it had me in tears, he is truly supportive and feels Nicole's loss. The grave side scene had me in bits, Nicole struggling with guilt and Zack listening to her tell Mark and Andrew about him, many tissues later so i could just keep reading.

    The supporting characters relationships in this story are great, the band members and Mia help carry the plot and story well. The plot keeps you engaged, you cant put this book down it is just fantastic.

    I loved how we see Nicole say goodbye to her old life and accept that she can have a new one with a wonderful man, but not totally forget her old life, it is ok for her to move forward and to live again but still keep her memories.

    Truly a moving and beautiful story well written with a HEA, looking forward to reading the next book in the series Just one week.
