    I am a HUGE fan of the small town romance stories. Who doesn’t love a good love story??

    Kristen Proby is the QUEEN of the romantic love story. Her stories are filled with love, humor and sexy times. She doesn’t overload her books with excess drama, just enough to keep you turning the pages. I end with a HUGE smile on my face every time I read one of her books.

    Kissing Jenna is the second book in the Big Sky Series by Kristen Proby. It is always great going back to Cunningham Falls with all these wonderful characters. I fell in love with series after reading Charming Hannah and this book is just as great!! This is another series that I know I will revisit again in the future.

    Again Kristen gave us a great story, although I love it when the movie star falls for the non movie star. She gave us characters that are lovable and relatable. I always feel a part of their world when I read her books. I also loved that she brought in some characters from her With Me In Seattle series. It’s great seeing them again. I thought the flow and pace of this story worked well. I didn’t want this story to end, I look forward to more books in this series.

    Kissing Jenna is a standalone novel told in Dual POV. It follows Jenna and Christian. Jenna we meet in Charming Hannah because she is Brad’s (Hero in Book 1) brother. I loved her character in that book, so I was so excited to read her story and I wasn’t disappointed. Jenna is a sassy, independent woman, who is determined to do things on her own. She owns many rental properties and has just opened the Treehouse rentals. Christian is a A-List actor and is up for a part in Luke Williams movie, but he needs to know how to ski well. So he is sent to Cunningham Falls to learn and is staying in the treehouse properties. That’s how he meets Jenna. Their chemistry is instant, but both are hesitant because of what dating a star means. Can they get past Christian’s star status?? Will they find their HEA?? Read this fun and entertaining story to find out.

    I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Kristen Proby fan. Also if you are a fan of romantic and heartfelt love stories with a totally swoony Hero, this is one you will want to read!!!! You’ll be left with a HUGE smile on your face :)

    Jenna Hull has achieved success in the male-dominated field of construction in part because of her strong work ethic but more importantly because she’s a creative thinker and knows how to get things done. Who but Jenna would think of building luxury ski in/ski out tree houses in the mountains of Montana? And it must’ve been fate that brought the Oscar-winning Christian Wolfe to Jenna’s beloved home of Cunningham Falls so he could learn to ski in preparation for his next movie. Christian’s life and career have been micro-managed to the point that he’s emotionally detached from living. He’s merely going through the motions, until he meets Jenna that is. She’s like the cool mountain air - briskly refreshing and gets your attention with its wholesome goodness. She isn’t impressed by his fame and fortune but there is definitely a mutual magnetism that pulls them together and forms steel-like bonds. But they live in different worlds and eventually Jenna and Christian are forced to confront those differences. Can their love withstand the strain?
    “Kissing Jenna” is the second book in The Big Sky Series and is a sweet romance without being syrupy. The narrative is delivered by Jenna and Christian in alternating chapters. Christian evokes both empathy for his victimization, and frustration for permitting himself to be manipulated, especially by his manager/sister. Yet Jenna is the all-American female heroine with an entrepreneurial spirit who is strong, independent, intelligent and as a bonus, beautiful. The dialogue in this novel is the real gem here. The plot, not so much, basically because there isn’t much of it. However, it is a fun read and that’s what I was looking for. Three and a half stars.

    Since reading my first With Me novel I've been a Proby fan, and I immediately fell in love with the Big Sky world and the wonderful characters who live there. Jenna is the younger sister of Brad (from Charming Hannah) and she owns some pretty amazing tree house rentals by the ski resort. She rents one of her units for a month to a Mr. Flint Stone, who turns out to be none other than Hollywood hottie, Christian Wolfe. Although he’s there to learn to ski for his next movie role, Montana and Jenna are the breath of fresh air his guarded, stagnant life needs.

    We can always count on Proby for a fun, lighthearted read with sizzling chemistry and low-key angst. I was glad to get my hands on an early copy of this book and I loved everything about it. The warmth, friendship and sense of community between this Big Sky “family" will make the loneliest reader feel a sense of belonging as these wonderful characters take you on their journey. Jenna is strong, intelligent, warm and compassionate, with a slight Type A personality flaw that makes her all the more endearing. Away from the glitz and glam of his manufactured life, Christian gets a chance to be his authentic self, and it’s pretty amazing that such a great guy still exists in spite of all the Hollywood pressures. Of course, they’re amazing together and exactly what the other needs.

    I love these interconnected stand alones, because it feels like returning to a favorite vacation spot and catching up with old friends. They really can be read in any order since Proby gives enough details on peripheral characters so the reader doesn’t feel lost. With things like the tabloids stirring up trouble, a wildlife mishap on an icy road, and a well meaning, over protective, interfering sister, there’s plenty happening to keep the reader's interest throughout the book. If you like your romance fun and easy but steamy and heartfelt, you’ll love Kissing Jenna!

    Every book Kristen writes just makes me fall more and more in love with her writing and amazing characters.
    I loved Jenna, I liked that she was a strong independent woman but still knew when to accept help. I also loved that she didn’t care that Christian was famous. They make a perfect couple.
