About the author

Mike Anthony, author of the Kevrinek series, is an accomplished musician, creating musical drama for stage and radio. Romance in all its guises, atmospheric settings and intrigue with just a touch of the unknown give energy and richness to life and inspire his characters to dare, to dream and very often to sing about their emotions both happy and otherwise.
Over several years living and singing in Cornwall, Mike attracted a substantial following who appreciated the magical atmosphere of his concerts and gigs. A memorable meeting with Daphne du Maurier, thrilled that he was 'singing for his supper' in her beloved Cornwall, will always be a warm and enduring memory. Mike has thoughts on what he seeks to achieve.
‘The immersive atmosphere I discovered in Cornwall drives and shapes characters in the 'Kevrinek' books, spills over into ‘The Charley Beri Portals’, and the emerging ‘Disney Triangle’ trilogy. Stories will always include music in some form and audio versions of Kevrinek with full soundtrack are next.’
Mike is a Walt Disney World head-case and enjoys an idyllic lifestyle in Suffolk with the lovely Janice. Still trying not to grow up, Mike plays piano with a passion that worries many folks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to see what happens next
This is a really good book, well written, it doesn't lag and is fresh and different. The Author's descriptions and use of language allow us to engage fully with the characters and I found the earthiness and balance between history and music refreshing. It only loses a star because I would like it to be longer and expand on detail a bit more. Bring on Book 3
