    This is the story of Ines a young college student and her smoking hot professor. She is living abroad for the first time on her own and he is in an unhappy marriage. They come together and find love and it's awesome. They do get there HEA, but not without working for it. This is a standalone, but part two in THE Forbidden Love series. A must read.

    Kinetic Energy by Hayley Faiman is book Two in the Forbidden Love Series. This is the story of Ines and Thomas. Thomas is a professor who is married and in his early forties. But his wife has a job in another state and they have been married for around 17 years and they have grown apart...never really living with each other for over 5 year. Thomas's wife might fly in for a day or two but never for long. They both have started to live separate lives and having affairs. When Thomas spots Ines he knows there is something different about her. Ines is attracted to him also and they have an instant lust to love story. Thomas is working through starting a divorce procedure after he knows that Ines is more than just an affair...she becomes his everything.
    Really loved this series so far! I am crazy about the instant love, older man and alpha type romance~
    Hope to read more book by this author soon...I have being eye more of her books on Amazon.

    Hayley Faiman is seriously one of my favorite authors right now. I loved every single one of her books that I read, with no exception, even the ones that I didn’t think I would after reading the blurb. With that being said, this really is my least favorite one, and it pains me to say it out loud.

    Fair warning, when it says forbidden love, it really is forbidden love. And I didn’t get it. It’s one of those, it’s not you, it’s me type of things lol I wasn’t as bothered by the age gap as I was by the characters’ immaturity. The age gap was big, but I had read other books with that subject and I was fine with it (MadDog, anyone?). However, the heroine of this story is 18, and she really acts like an 18-year-old. She’s definitely not one of those who grew up fast and is wise beyond her years. There were so many times when I just wanted to tell her, “shhhhh, just be quiet now, no talking for a while...”. The hero was much older, but acted almost just as immature as her. Not quite at that level, but I still rolled my eyes at him couple of times.

    All in all, I think Ines would have been a lot more prepared for life with a much older man had she been at least 20, instead of 18. She was so naive and sheltered and it really showed in her conversations with Thomas as well as with others. She was like a kid trying to play a grownup.

    There was an over usage of the words groan, moan, wink. Thomas seriously winked way too much. He was a serial winker. They were trying to hide their love from the world, and there he was teaching his class and winking at her. No more winking, Thomas!!

    I did love the epilogue. I was happy to see that years later their sacrifices had not been for nothing and they were still together and in love.

    Going through the motions like any young person, Ines was trying to find herself. A Freshman in college. First time living on her own not under the thumb of her family back in Miami. Moving to Nebraska to simply get away. While trying to figure out her major. Friends and parties she was simply taken in everything and trying to experience everything college life had to offer. But she still had her good sense to know her hard limits.

    Thomas lonely longing for a bit of attention. He tries to find it where it’s been lacking in his marriage of 17 years. His wife of 17 years simply checked out chasing her career. Allowing her husband to wonder looking for the attention he so desperately longed from her.

    Well who knew one wild night he would simply glimpse this beautiful brown eyed Angel who would forever change his life and give him everything his ever wanted.

    I am a fan of Hayley Faiman she hasn’t disappointed me yet. After the first Cole and Jessa, I needed to know what happened to Ines and Thomas. This book is a must read.

    Its a heart twisting book that pulls you in and you can't seem to get enough. The tension and pull between Thomas and Ines from the start was intense but so much happened to test their love. Danielle got what she deserves after the things she did. I'm glad Rio has found his happiness, I hope Carter does to!
