About the author

Bestselling author Gia Riley has been in love with writing romance since high school when she took her very first creative writing class. From the small but mighty state of Delaware, she’s a country girl at heart, traveling back to her roots in Pennsylvania as often as she can.
She’d rather pick truth than dare, bake than cook, and will always choose coffee over tea.
Just like life, her stories are real and full of feels. You'll probably need some tissues. You might even want to throw your Kindle a couple times. But she promises to put your heart back together.
You can connect with Gia on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. She also has a reader group, Gia Riley’s Books, on Facebook. Stop by anytime, she loves hearing from readers!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2019One of the many reasons I LOVE reading books by Gia Riley is her ability to make me fall madly in love with the characters and suddenly I turn the page and I’m seeing RED!!! She will also make you giddy, you will feel the fluttering from your belly to your heart as you fall in love along with them.
She never makes it easy, you will be in a state of Emotional Turmoil till the end. Waiting for the other shoe to drop. You will walk away hoping to find someone who feels like home and to tell them, Kiss Me, Stupid!

I had extremely high hopes for Kiss Me, Stupid. When I read the blurb for Kiss Me, Stupid, I knew I had to have this in my hands ASAP, but in all honestly I am disappointed. I don't know if it is because my hopes were set so high or not. I honestly loved how Wirth and Chandler met. It felt real and authentic, but after that it was just okay for me. For the most part, I feel like this book was juvenile, considering both the main characters were in their twenties. The whole plot was overrated in in my opinion. It felt petty, especially because it was the plot was over something that happens when you are in high school. Not saying some shouldn't have certain feelings about the situation, because they should. Not only that, for the plot to be the main idea of this story, it was like everything was a-okay after a night thinking it over. Like if you blow up about the situation like so, why would you allow something to happen afterword? Clearly feelings wasn't hurt as bad as they were mentioned. I mean literally the book spans over a short period of time, so there really was not a chance for character development either. I really wish I could give a higher rating, but this book just wasn't for me. I hope to try something else from this author, because I do not want to base my opinion of her over just one book.
Chandler. Such a different name for a lead female character, but I love it. She is one for crazy rituals. Her mind is different than most. She is just an anxious person, with many personable traits. She is kind of introverted in some ways considering her job.
Wirth. Another different name, but it fits his personality. He reminds me of a social butterfly. There is not many people he trusts, but he is outgoing, and pretty much gets along with everyone. This guy is one, that is not afraid of his emotions, and will face them head on.
All it takes is one flight, with two strangers sitting next to each other, for fate to step into play.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2019Chandler has finally made her dream come true, dancing in a Broadway show. Now she just has to make the trip to New York even though she is a bit anxious about flying. Imagine her surprise when she gets a seat next to singer, Wirth Sutherland. She got to see him in person at one of his shows a few days ago and now she gets to share the same space for the next few hours.
Wirth moved to Nashville to make his dreams of becoming a professional singer a reality. Now that his life has crashed and burned, he has to return to his old life in New York. But now that he is sitting next to a beautiful woman on the flight back on New Year's Eve, maybe things are starting to look up.
The attraction between Wirth and Chandler is instant and they share a kiss at midnight. Both realize it isn't the right time to start up something new but fate may have other ideas...
I loved Wirth and Chandler!! I loved the banter between Wirth and Chandler and how he embraces her quirkiness. Very cute story! I am a huge fan of Gia Riley's and was not disappointed in this story. The way that Gia writes a story, it sucks me in and I feel like I'm actually in the story and experiencing every high and low right along with the characters. Gia will always be an immediate one-click author for me!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2019I simply love what Gia Riley brings with Kiss Me, Stupid. Chandler and Wirth have this cute connection when they first meet. You can't help but to love them both. Yes there may be times you'll say what the heck when it comes to them. But in the end you know you're going to get a huge heart squeeze with this one. Wirth and Chandler are amazing together once they get their acts together. You understand where they both are coming from as you read this. I love how Gia Riley makes them feel so real, like you are best friends with them. Chandler is sweet and caring. Wirth is totally swoon worthy. Both will keep you turning the pages and loving the dynamics between Chandler, Wirth and Hollis, these friends and roommates bring to the table. Kiss Me, Stupid is a fantastic read that needs to be one clicked.
