In the Sack with Krampus (Houston Hub Shorts) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 285 ratings

Leo:

I haven’t had the best of luck with roommates because of my horror movie memorabilia, so when my newest one, Jack, leaves an invitation to a Christmas sleepover on my desk, I’m a little wary and a lot curious. It might not be the best idea to sleepover at a stranger’s house (because of ax murderers, obviously), but the host sounds reasonable when I text him, and it’s lonely being stuck in a dorm room all winter break. At least the guy playing Krampus is nice. I might not know how to be a little, but he makes it easy to follow along.

Peter:

I’m fine. Really. There’s no reason for my brother, Jack Frost, to interfere in my love life. Not that I’ll ever be able to convince him to mind his own business, which is why I end up going to the infamous Christmas Sleepover. The sub he introduces me to is adorable and might end up being the reason I have to apologize and tell my brother he was right. Leo is the cutest, most easy-going little I’ve ever met, and I might not know anything about being a daddy, but I’m willing to learn if he’s willing to give old Krampus a chance.

In the Sack with Krampus is a 26k word holiday MM Daddy/little romance set in the Diviner’s Game universe. It can be read as a stand alone. Content includes corrupted Christmas carols, Daddy/bigger-little exploration with spankings, and learning not to show off our favorite fun training pants.

This hits so many yes's for me! Krampus/monster MC, adorable himbo/golden retreiver-esque MC, nosy but well meaning family members, daddies and littles and all the fun of naughty Christmas carols.

It may be short but it's packed full and the pacing was perfection. I could read an entire series just of littles/pets and the Houston Hub denizens that they find (or vice versa) but I'll settle for this little slice of Christmas scented bliss.

Cute story about Leo, a human who knows nothing about the supernatural world, and Peter AKA Krampus, whose brother is Jack Frost.

Leo and Jack are roommates in college. Jack invites Leo to a holiday sleepover at a friend’s house. Unbeknownst to Leo, it’s a party for littles and their Mommy or Daddy. Leo has never given any thought to being a little but doesn’t want to hurt his friend’s feelings so he figures, ‘when in Rome…’

Krampus plays Leo’s Daddy for the night and when it’s over, neither of them wants it to end.

Though he thinks Peter is possibly delusional thinking he’s Krampus, Jack convinces Leo to give Peter a chance. He does.

Leo and Krampus are so cute together. The story is cute and funny.

Sexy time for Krampus Daddy and his found boy. Jacky is sure good to his younger brother. And the sleep over is just what they needed.

So much fun!!! I laughed so much while reading this. I love that Krampus, Santa and Jack Frost are real in this worls and that they are brought to life in these short stories in a realistic way. I love Peter aka Krampus. He's a great blend of Holiday vengeance seaking monster and a regular guy. Leo, is a guy who ends up in a unfamiliar situation and just goes with the flow, only to discover a side to himself that he never knew. They form a great couple and I love how their relationship evolves and how they know what they each need. Another great read from a truly talented author! (Also, Naughty Christmas song lyrics! What's not to love about that?)

Jennifer Cody can do no wrong (or write no wrong? 🤔) I’m not a huge fan of the Daddy/little kink, but Jennifer’s characters are just so damn lovable!! I have yet to meet a character I don’t want to keep in my pocket to love on. 😍 I can’t wait for the next book!!!!!

Who ever thought that Krampus was a Daddy? But he appears to be a good one. Especially for a boy who loves horror.

3.0 out of 5 stars not my favourite

Gotta admit this wasn’t my favourite from this author. I was expecting something with Leo being on the Krampus naughty list. It was teased a few times and nothing, nada! Almost like the author forgot to get to it. Such a shame as I enjoyed the rest of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Leo and Krampus 💕

I always enjoy Jennifer Cody's books and this year's Christmas novella was just as much fun to read as all her others. Leo was adorable and Peter (Krampus) was lovely and just perfect for him. I really enjoyed their interactions and how they both found out things about themselves they never knew they were into, and maybe if they'd met other people they wouldn't have discovered that kinky part of themselves.
