About the author

Carina Adams, a USA Today Best Selling Author and Amazon Top 100 Best Seller, is an avid reader who loves the epic and unconventional, has an unhealthy obsession with Stanley Tucci, loves the sounds of Johnny Cash, is the crazy friend your mom warned you about, has a heart and soul as black as the coffee she drinks, and believes she’ll go through the stones and find Jamie Fraser.
Carina has been writing and creating characters for as long as she can remember, allowing her to fall in love with the next man of her dreams with every new story. None of which are anything like boring Prince Charming.
Thankfully, fate stepped in and granted her the ultimate wish—a life full of men. Carina lives in a tiny Maine town with her biker-turned-businessman husband who keeps her on her toes and their two heathens who made her realize that wicked chicks do, indeed, lay deviled eggs.
Carina is currently working on two novels: Echoes of Us, the final installment of the Dreams Trilogy and 'Stones' a heartbreakingly beautiful tale of second chance love.
Carina loves to hear from her readers. carinaadamswrites@gmail.com

- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2016It has been quite a while since I gave a book 5 stars but this read was absolutely breathtaking and I could not put it down: It was well written, the characters had great depth and the story was different from anything I have read before.
These characters have a past and they have scars which make them seem incredibly real. They struggle, they fall and then they rise from their darkness with help from each other. I could not imagine better characters to read about.
Well done <3
- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2019This was such a good story, I didn’t want it to end! When I first started reading it, I thought that there was a mistake on the description of the story. It sure didn’t start off as a MC book. But ended up being a really good MC read. It was different than most of the MC books I’ve read. Don’t want to give any spoilers, so I’ll just say I really liked this book!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2016Carina Adams did a wonderful job creating characters that came right off the pages. Who can't resist a sexy, tattooed man on a bike? I fell in love with Matty, like Jo there were moments I wanted to strangle him to only turn around and fall deeper in love with him.
The book caused me to smile, laugh, get angry and even cry. The groundwork is laid down for Rocker's story and easily a few others. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
I highly recommend the book if you love HEAs, best friends falling in love, overcoming real problems, and love MC novels.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2019The story is self was good and the character development was spot on. Very Sons of Anarchy with more romance and less detailed brutality.
However, this book seriously suffered from lack of editing. Incorrect words, spelling, extra words, etc were peppered throughout. There are also several passages that have missing information that the readers is magically supposed to know. For me, it really detracted from the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2016I loved this story on how Matty and Joes who were best friends for 12yrs. I liked how Joes started to understand his world of being a biker/ I feel in love with Rocker and Tank. Would like to read more about Tank!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lay it down: Bastards MC Boxed Set
Wow...... loved this duo of books, couldn't put it down. Carina Adams draws you in with her story about two best friends who love each other and eventually gain the freedom to express it. Joey and Matt struggle to be together and over come obstacles in their path. Matt has lived a double life for years and is a true hero with his MC brothers, I loved them all, bad boys with hearts everyone of them. Highly recommend for a heart warming read.

5.0 out of 5 stars great read
I loved this read. I loved that the Boston accent was written so you could get into the feel of the story. It was just a great read. Im not sure i would comfortable enuf in myself to bring my partners best friend into my relationship without petty jealousy. Same sex maybe but not opposite. But anyway i would definatley recommend this read.

4.0 out of 5 stars stick with it, so worth a read
such a great read, was slightly confused at first as to how it was an mc book but it all fell into place in the end. It did take me a while to get into the book and found it fairly slow paced and frustrating at the beginning, I felt like I was being sent round in circles and screamed at Matty and Jo to just get on with it ;)
once the story got going I really enjoyed it, they are a stubborn pair but work great together especially as they started out as best friends. The bastards are fab, big cuddly teddy bears with hearts of gold but I certainly wouldn't get on te wrong side of them ;) great read and recommended

1.0 out of 5 stars 1 Not For Me stars
Unfortunately this book just didn't work for me. I couldn't connect with the main characters and the story was too violent in parts for me.
