    I absolutely loved getting to see why Brady disappeared all the time, and the reason is such a heart tugging, relatable issue. I've loved all of the LSU series so far and I can't wait for the rest. Brady and Mya stole my heart right away. And I love the way they solved their issues. I don't want to cause any spoilers but it's a must read with a HEA and no cliffhangers. I was given this book for an honest review.

    Having read the previous installments in this series i've been looking so forward to more! Ever since i reached the end of Scandalous Little Obsession, i couldn't wait to get into this installment! I picked it up and got right back into the Lake State University world! I so enjoyed this sixth installment!

    Mya and Brady's journey captured my attention right from the get go! These two are friends, but as their attraction grows can they handle the truths of their feelings?

    I was so glad to get to dig deeper with these characters! I wasn't quite sure what all to expect and i really liked that! The chemistry between Brady and Mya was great! I couldn't wait to see how they'd tackle things. I really enjoyed the way these two characters and their story had me feeling many things from start to finish.

    With Torrid Little Passion, Ms.Brownell has created such a good read with feels! I can't wait to dive back into this series with the seventh installment, Tangled Little Truths! 💛

    Torrid Little Passion is one of my favorites in the Lake State University series. Books can be read as standalone’s, but with how interconnected these books are, the nuggets Rachael dangles in front of us, I would go all in. First, we get a note from Max, who if you have been reading all the LSU books, is our resident PITA older brother. Rachael has been building up, not only his story, but Brady’s for quite a bit. Such a tease!! Because the next book is not Max’s, thinking she is saving the best or worst 😅, depending on how you look at it for last. But, back to Brady and Mya because these two are couple goals. Brady has been a mystery since day one. But, the thing is Mya has a secret of her own. This book is low on angst, Rachael has amped up the smexy, and left us once again with nuggets on the rest of the series.

    Mya and Brady became friends and study buddies two years ago. They had an easy laid back connection, but Brady’s anxiety held him back from making any moves. Feeling friendzoned Mya moved on.

    Now she is newly single and all the feelings are still simmering. But, this time Brady is all about showing just how interested he is.

    While things heat up between the sheets, the idea of more is a slippery slope for both of them. With their individual secrets, graduation looming, and all the mess between their friends, timing may not be their friend.

    I love this world that Rachael Brownell has created. Every time I get a chance to visit this world and these characters I jump at the chance. This time I am even more impressed with Rachael’s ability to keep it fluid, I mean most of the books in the series are taking place in the same time frame so the storylines can cross and do cross and yet it still stays true to each characters own story.

    This time around we get Brady’s story, the elusive Brady, one minute he’s there and the next he’s gone. There were a lot of theories but with this book we finally get to find out what’s really going on. You are going to love his story, there’s a a few times where I wanted to shake both Brady and Mya and tell them to get out of their heads and use their words, but then I have to remember how young they are and then I relax and enjoy the show.

    This series is just too good to pass up, so don’t, go grab them all, there is the perfect amount of heart and heat in these and you are going to love it!

    Rachael Brownell is back with the infamous Lake State University series and y'all.. this was quite the "little" book. I was all-in with this beauty from the very start and didn't put it down for a single moment (well until the last word!).

    Torrid Little Passion is the sixth standalone in this series, giving us Brody and Mya's story and this was quite the angsty, steamy, complicated af friends to lovers romance that hit me hard and fast. Rachael knocked it out of the park with soooo many moments in this book, amping up all the heart and all the feels in this beauty y'all. Gaaaahhhhh my heart, what a journey these two had.

    I've enjoyed every single book in this series, devouring them whole as they release. And yes these are technically standalones but y'all, do yourself a real service and start from the very beginning.. you won't regret it. Plus Rachael was new to me when I entered Lake State and I won't be looking back.

    I highly recommend this series.
