I have been a writer for a number of years, finally branching out into publishing. I grew up in Texas, where much of what I write happens. I've been a real-life dom for a quarter century now. I've always liked writing, entering new vistas my mind affords. Life makes us the men and women we are, and I often (changing names to protect not so much the innocent but the delightfully sinful) dip into my life's experiences for the fiction I will be providing you. Thank you for stopping by.

As with all my of reviews of this series, if you haven’t read books 1-4 don’t read this as it will spoil it for you.

I was so very sad going into this final book of the Josiah series, knowing it’s the very last one. I have to say that once you read the first one you really should read all 5 books back to back to keep you in the story. They’re all so very good and worth reading. I’ve actually read this whole series twice so far and I know I’ll read them again, in order, a whole lot more. I’m glad I have bought the whole collection and have them as my own.

Once again I’m happy it starts off where 4 ended.

Haiylee was just introduced into story. She was one of the girls Molly bullied to the point she quit. She is one of the reasons Molly is no longer working at the clinic. Molly and Leigh had just moved her from her abusive mothers home and into a motel. Josiah went to meet her as a potential addition to his family. Haiylee and Becky actually grew up together and have been friends for many years. Unfortunately her job interview didn’t go well which left her very upset and still left her unemployed. Josiah surprises her by letting her know he’s sending her to college.

Becky is still having difficulties being around Rhiannon and Josiah wants to Finns a way to change this. It still bothers him how Becky initially reacted to the shrink when they first met. Especially after all the help she’s given Anita and now Juniper.

Simon gets an unexpected promotion allowing him to move closer to Josiah’s farm.

Donna and Darren finally make come back after their honeymoon to a new house not far from Darla and her family’s farm.

This book has many beginnings and tragically, some very sad endings as well, including Josiah’s own family.

These books show how Josiah’s family grows from just him and Molly into a great variety of people. Showing the love and personal growth of each member of this family. No one person is the focus. Each character gets their own story told throughout all 5 books. No one is left out of any of the books. So much more happens in this book that makes you love and hurt for the family. The epilogue contains so much more about Josiah and his loving family. It’s worth reading through it all. Even the surprise at the end of the book. I am sad it is over but I know I can come back and reread them at any time.

I don't even know where to begin. In reading this series I have truly come to know and love these characters. Mr. Black is extrodinary at weaving a tale of love, devotion, and the true meaning of family. I could not put this book down until the very last heart wrenching word. For this finale you will definitely need the tissues. I literally cried through the entire epilogue. Fantastic ending to a phenomenal story. Thank you Sir Lucas for giving us an inside look at this beautiful family from beginning to the very end. Please check out this series, you will not regret your decision.

I stayed up late last night to finish this book and I must admit I was very apprehensive about reading it because I didn't want the story to end. I know you can only stretch a series out so long before it gets stale but this series was far far from getting stale. I was preparing myself that this was last book in the series and I did not expect the ending! The hot steamy scenes continued to add to the already amazing story line. I can't say anything else except this book left me with a book hangover and it will be my last book in 2019.

Volume V in the Josiah series comes full circle and ends as an HEA depending on your perspective. The series in it's entirety is a real life journey, and not to be depicted as day dreaming story. You will fall in love with Josiah Bailey and his extended family. Vicariously baring witness to the Bailey Clan enduring life and it's inevitable changes, losses, and loves. The reader will be truly emersed in the concept of pure love and it's dynamic of give and take. Volume 5 will not leave you asking questions or wandering what happened to everyone one and everything, I personally promise it is completed. The biggest problem the reader will have is saying goodbye to this unique, endearing, realistic family. Prepare for a significant book hangover that is soo worth it.

I have been so emotionally connected to these characters that Lucas X Black has written, that I can't seem to find the right words. To say that I loved this book is a understatement. I adored it, all of them really. It is graphically hot. And Josiah is a loving caring sadist. I do hope you enjoy read this series as much as I have. Oh and a bit of a spoiler alert . Buy tissue! Lots of tissue!! If i could I'd give it 9 stars!!!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Series...HIghly Recommend (beware-intense Master/slave dynamic)

Josiah and his ever-growing family have touched my heart...their journey has at times, excited, frustrated, awed, captured and melted my heart, had me laughing out loud and shedding a tear. The devotion, deep and increasing need, along with an unshakable love between Master and his slaves could not have been told any better than it has in this series. Lucas Black is now my favourite author and I can't wait to read all of his books.

A great ending to Josiah's Love and Justice. I won't comment in case I give away the ending. I highly recommend you read the entire series by Mr. Black. It's sad the story had to end, but like all other stories, there is an ending. Thank you, Mr. Black for sharing your story with us all.
