Left Behind: Finding My Forever Book 3 Kindle Edition
So, when I get invited to a photographer’s convention in Florida, I jump at the chance. Now I can get away from all the coupled happiness around me and surround myself with… all the photographers from back home.
Well, crap.
Why didn’t I realize that I already knew half the people here? How did I not know that Andrew—the head of the jerk brigade—would be here too? Ugh. Well, at least I can hang out at the beach, right?
***Left Behind is the third book in the Finding My Forever series, but is a standalone novel. Each book in the series will feature a different couple, but the couples will show up throughout the series. It’s a 114,000 word contemporary romance between two men with explicit language and graphic sex intended for Adults Only.***

About the author

Michele is married to an awesome guy that puts up with her and all the burnt dinners she makes—hey, sometimes characters are a bit distracting, and who doesn’t plot when they’re supposed to be cooking? They live together in Baltimore, Maryland with two little monsters, a three-legged princess, a four-legged goofball, and a cutie with giant ears (aka their two kids, their two cats, and their dog). She hopes to rescue another cat soon, and if her hubby wouldn’t kill her, she’d get more than one… and maybe a few more dogs as well.
She loves creating worlds filled with lots of love, chosen family, and of course, magic, but she also likes making the characters fight for that happy ending. She hopes to one day write all the stories in her head—even if there are too many to count!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2017Levi and Andrew! Or Drew, or Andy.
So we first met Andy in book two, A Little Bit Broken, Harley and Theo’s story. It was just a short little snippet of him and he was a complete and total jerk. Fast forward to Levi’s story. Andy is still a complete and total jerk. But for only part of the story, obviously, otherwise there wouldn’t be a story to tell. And oh the story Michele tells! WARNING!!! Have tissues ready. I think we all already knew that Levi’s story was going to move us. It really does. It really gets you in the feels. And Michele does a wonderful job with the storyline. There are hints along the way and if you are a focused enough reader, you can have a pretty good idea about what is going on with Andy but the scene is still moving and will still get to you. So again, tissues! There is glitter galore, many different hair colors, sexy speedos, a funeral, lots of weddings, even more pictures, coffee as Levi lives on coffee I think, a hurricane, a road trip, complete heartbreak, an ex BFF who definitely deserves to be EX, a homophobic B whom I hope to never see again, lots and lots of sexy times…the list can go on and on and on. But there is a beautifully written love story in there. And Levi definitely knew who he wanted and wasn’t going to give him up no matter what. He is definitely tenacious enough to “romance the shit out of you”. He wanted Andy, he knew they were good for each other and he didn’t give up, even when Andy pushed him away and was being a complete douche. Levi is such a beautiful person, inside and out and we cannot help but love him and root for him and we finally got his story.
Declan and Matty’s story is next and I believe it is going to completely destroy me, but in an ok way. But there is definitely some major heartbreak in that story and I cannot wait to continue on this path as a reader.
I definitely recommend Left Behind. You can completely read it on its own. But why would you? It is part of a series and you get so much from reading the previous stories that you definitely know the characters better if you read the stories in order.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2021This was a sweet read with plenty of sass. It’s the first I’ve read in the series but will definitely be reading more.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2017I am a huge fan of this series and I fell in love with Levi and his fun-loving, glittery personality in the first book. Levi is still his same fun-loving, free spirited self in this book, but he is also struggling with deeper emotions and letting go on two different levels. Levi’s initial relationship with Andy is sort of like a bully/victim dynamic. Andy has put up his own defensive wall, but Levi knows that there is more beneath the surface. As they learn more about each other, the relationship begins to grow. They’re both drawn to the comfort they find through a simple hug and it builds from there into a friendship. Levi starts to want more from Andy, but Andy is still holding back because of a secret he is keeping that could change everything. Once the secret is out, it doesn’t take Levi long to break through Andy’s defenses. Once the walls start to come down, the relationship takes off from there.
I love the way this author is able to bring such emotional and tough topics to life with a great amount of sensitivity and without resorting to angsty drawn out drama. Reading books about real life topics that many people face and getting a HEA is exactly what I look for when choosing a book and this one certainly delivers. The plot flows really well. There are moments that will break your heart and there are moments that will have you laughing hysterically. I seriously love Mrs. Ann! The characters are well developed, especially if you’ve followed the series from the beginning. This book can be read as a standalone but is much more enjoyable when you have the background you get from the previous books.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2017First let me start by saying I loved this book even though I was frustrated at times how slow the burn was but it all came together when a few things are revealed that the slow burn was necessary to build a trusting friendship between Levi and Andy. I love Levi he has the biggest heart and needed someone to appreciate that. I wanted to hate Andy as he just came off as such a jerk but you will eventually realize he is just protecting himself from pain.
Love this series! Want to be part of the Maher family and revisit these boys again in future books.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2017I got hooked on the Finding My Forever series and been waiting for Left Behind- Levi's story FOREVER! I love how Michele Notaro pulls you in and keeps you hooked. In this book she had me laughing at the crazy antics of Levi and Andy, crying when a character bears his heart and relives things from their past . Anger at the stupidly of ignorant people. But, as always Michele never lets her readers down and gives her boys what they want.
