Sometimes all it takes to find your soulmate is a quick trip to heaven and a chat with the spirit of your biggest love, at least that’s how it is for Dina Merry this Yuletide. Dina must navigate the pearly gates and let go of the past if she’s ever to find love again.

Fiona sits by Dina’s hospital bed. All she wants for Christmas is a happy ending, but will her own fears of rejection put a spanner in the works? Or can new friends Brooke and Catherine keep her on track?

It's been three happy years since Catherine Blake began living with Brooke, and yet, still, she struggles to let go of the fear that she's too old and that one day, her lover will want someone younger.

As for Brooke, she's coming to understand that her little sister is no longer a kid, and with Robin heading off to university soon, Brooke must face her own issues with letting go…

If you loved, Forget It, then this is the perfect next step you've been waiting for. A standalone romance with new and old characters to keep you company this Christmas.

Claire Highton-Stevenson is a British Indie author. She writes heartwarming, Sapphic romance in contemporary settings. Claire's characters are bold, strong, independent women who love women.

However, she is also known to throw in a mystery or two. Claire likes to move around the tropes at will, and will often bend the rules to create exciting and often unique situations. She's not afraid to tackle darker topics either.

I really enjoyed this semi-sequel to Forget It. It was great to catch up with Catherine and Brooke having nearly equal time with their relationship while also getting a new romance to delve into with Fiona and Dina. You don't have to read Forget It before reading Letting Go (but why wouldn't you??)

I will say this, Claire Highton-Stevenson always has a way of creating such intriguing and wonderful stories. What I liked a lot from this book was that it starts off with a unique storyline. The writing flowed naturally and just drags your eyes along, as if they simply cannot help moving to the next word. The story at times was sad yet joyful, funny and sexy. It has little angst and really made you root for Fiona & Dina… Note: I started reading this book two days ago and had a very hard time putting it down so I could get things done. I could have read it straight through if time would have allowed.
*This book also includes some of my favorite characters from the “Forget it” book that was previously done by this author. It was great to catch up with Brooke & Catherine and see their interaction’s with Fiona & Brooke…perhaps we will see more from this New Tribe of friends in the future. I definitely recommend 5⭐️

I loved this book so much and now I’m tempted to believe in ghosts.

Also, it was amazing to meet old friends again, as Catherine and Brooke are one of my all time favorite couples.

So glad I read this book. I’m probably going to reread it at least next Christmas.

When one HEA ends unexpectedly, trusting in another HEA is almost too difficult. But with a push from a bus, another from the spiritual world and a third from a new friend, who says lighting can't strike twice?

Definitely made me tear up, multiple times. But it's a very good Christmas story about telling the people you love that you love them.

One of my favourite films seems to have influenced your latest book, & I 100% adore it. I really don`t know where your inspiration came from but this story works so well. I laughed, I welled up at times, I fell in love with every character. The side story of Catherine & Brooke wove beautifully through it too, as did Brooke`s own feelings about Robin, but of course, Dina & Fiona`s love story gave us the happy ever after we all wanted, with a lot of help from Harry in the afterlife. Claire Highton-Stevenson truly is a fantastic story teller of our time

This was a very cute and enjoyable read. Loved having the connection to the first book as I loved those characters. Friends to lovers is always a winning trope and this book was perfect for that.
