I thought the two main characters, Dalton and Adam, were written especially strong and I was taken with them immediately. The other permanent characters were good as well. The only problem I had with this book was the length of time it took before Dalton realized who Adam actually was. I was becoming a tad frustrated with that situation. Otherwise, a great book and I enjoyed the teasing about who might or might not pair up. It was also fun to see characters from the author's other series make cameo appearances. Can't wait until the next book, Gage and Mason's story, Rough.

    Adam and Dalton's story is filled with mild heat, action, and suspense. In order to have their happy ever after the two men will need to let go of the past and survive the present. I really enjoyed these two men snarky banter and looking forward to the other men in Pegasus stories. Adam is hurting and angry at Dalton and trying to stay alive long enough to figure out who set him up. Meanwhile Dalton realizes he made a huge mistake by walking away and just wants his boo back lol. I highly recommend reading and as always Happy Reading!!!

    The story was alright but there was an inconsistency that rubbed me the wrong way. The bad guys try to kill Adam from the get-go but when they finally get their hands on him, they tie him up and try to get answers instead. Some of these guys sounded and acted like women, not like seasoned operatives, at least imo. I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the series. Maybe when Jacob’s story comes out.

    Lethal is book one of the Ooperation Justice Force series by Reese Knightley. The series itself centers around a group of men who work secret ops and function like a family when they not working. Each book is about a different couple. Book one is about Dalton and Adam.
    Dalton walked away from the love of his life, Adam, decades before and regreted every minute of it. Adam, after getting his heart broken, joins the military then the CIA. During a mission Adam is burned by the CIA. Dalton and his team are sent to get him. Once they meet again things get complicated.
    This story is an action packed page turner. It Keeps you wanting more. The dynamics of the team are more of family than co-workers so things get very entertaing between them.
    I recommend this book to people who enjoy action romance. It's a great read.

    Lethal brings the suspense, love and the fight for justice. Dalton and Adam fell in love when they were young but didn’t know how to really make it work. Thirteen years of wasted time and Adam aka Sphinx blacklisted in the CIA. Dalton and Pegasus was assigned to find and bring Sphinx in but the meeting was compromised. Adam and Dalton recognized each other’s voice when they were shooting at each other. Adam decided he needed to change venue and decided to go home which was at Dalton family house. Dalton and Pegasus was given the Christmas holidays off and he was really missing Adam and decided to go home not knowing that Adam was there. He thought Adam might be Sphinx but he couldn’t prove it. Adam was unsure of Dalton would arrest him so he withheld his identity until his location was compromised yet again. He finally started putting the pieces together and needed Pegasus to help catch the true criminals. Great love story with a beautiful HEA. Looking forward to book 2.
