    This is a wonderful spinoff of the authors beloved MacLomain series. It's still a world of dragons, magic, Norse and Celtic gods, and of course time travel.....however its a new set of characters with a few familiar names along the journey. Instead of magical rings uniting fated couples, this series has a new item that does so. It's NOT necessary to have read the previous series, but it might give you a certain perspective to this book if you do. Not to mention they're just plain fun to read!! 😉

    The author expertly brings the reader along on this exciting journey. Missing memories, fated mates, A great evil threatening everyone...can they find the memories, the answers, and possibly love/family along the way??     Sky has a gift creating wonderful, intriguing characters and placing them in amazing locations - both familiar and fantastic. She lets you into the minds and hearts of her characters and brings you along on their journeys to find them selves and great loves.
    With things being revealed a little at a time so that the reader gets to experience that elusive “ah ha!” moment when everything comes together.

    I love that older characters are brought back and referenced in newer stories. It is great to see old favorites again and again and get to meet their children and grandchildren. Not to mention the little surprises and connections Sky pops into her stories here and there.

    Can’t wait to see what comes next!

    Let me say upfront that Sky is one of my 3 favorite authors to read. That being said though, this book is awesome read! If you loved her MacLomain series you’ll love this spin off. I loved the quirky cast of characters the help Destiny discover who and what she is. Also to see what role she plays in Leviathan’s past and future. Come and see what happens between Destiny, Leviathan and the quirky band of characters. You won’t be disappointed. The book might have you agree with me that she is now one of your favorite authors!     I don't understand how Sky manages to keep writing such heart stopping and beautifully sensual stories. Every book is full of remarkable characters who stay with you long after the book ends.
