Levi's Fury (The Brotherhood Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 115 ratings

Levi was an irritable New Yorker, through and through, so when an influx of demons threatened his city, he was royally ticked off! To make matters worse, Kurt returns. Flushed with a succesful mission, (one where Levi actually had to step in and rescue him in Chicago), Kurt was accompanied by the enticing "Little Witch" - Grace.

What Levi didn't need was for the pair of them to take over his case and solve it before he could. If that wasn't bad enough, he was finding Grace to be quite distracting.

Could Grace reach Levi through his walls of fury, or would his anger destroy them all?

Hi, I'm Jade Thorn,

I'm a stay at home mother of 3 gorgeous wee monsters. I live in Australia with them, their Daddy, our pup, Smudge, and our pet fish.

I've been writing forever it seems. I had a passion for it as young as 9, but it never occured to me that others would like my little stories. I have oodles and oodles of half written pieces and slowly but surely I'm sharing them with you.

I'm finally doing what I've always dreamed of, and it's even better than I imagined. I do hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

Jade

xoxo

Enjoyable story overall. Follows a bit of the same vein as the first and still a lot of drama between the group.

I'm in love with this series. Grace is getting stronger in her powers but still a mystery. The action and fight scenes are intriguing, and even though the sex scenes are hot, I did feel in some situations Kurt was acting like a honey teenager instead of an elite agent. I can't wait for the next book.

This one was a bit better with the explanations about Levi and his past and why it has affected him so much. But I felt there was a little too much similarity between Kurt and Levi’s villain. They are both goddesses and they are both easily influenced or compromised by said goddess. You’d think they’d come up with idk a charm or something to prevent this from happening.

There’s also a bit of stagnancy with the plot it pauses moving forward for a lot of forays in to sex. I also felt like some key pieces were missing from the plot, like some of the planning aspects of how to handle the demons and portal.

I definitely think the book could be edited further, there are still various typos throughout the book and possibly the series. There’s some continuity issues and some parts the are repetitive and rehash what was said only a few sentences ago. But I still like the story. It still has potential and I can’t wait for the guys to figure out that they can both have her. It’s annoying no one has thought of this.

It would be nice if not every man was in to Grace or wanted to be her friend or kin. Almost all throughout the series the only entities to not like Grace are the demons and the goddesses who are trying to do…something. We still don’t know the overall plot I assume that won’t be told for quite a while. I’d like to see Grace struggle, maybe have some thing she wasn’t smart at or good at…and again not every person should be liking her. Some things are too easy too.

I still plan to continue the series however.

I thought I was all about Kurt, but Levi is pure lava! I love that each character is developing individually and together, but Levi has me on the edge of my seat. I got so wrapped up in the beautiful imagery of this book, I had no idea I was near the end. I can't wait for Book 4!

I love Grace! She's the total package, and a fantastic FMC.
I love the varied POV's, it makes you feel like you really get to know the different characters.
    This is an excellent series.
I'm so glad I found these books. Starting immediately on book 3!

In Levi's Fury Grace travels to the New York office of the Brotherhood for a debrief, while Kurt hopes that he can convince her to become a permanent part of the Brotherhood. But the demons aren't less present in New York, and the men of the Brotherhood aren't used to a woman being a part of their team.

I like how Grace's relationships with the men of the Brotherhood all develop in their own time, and how they need to search for a new dynamic to work. These men are hot, strong and protective but also a bit obnoxious and chauvinistic at times. Luckily Jade created a very strong fmc who knows how to deal with all these characters; the combination of all these characters works. Because they get introduced slowly, it is possible to get to know them better gradually, which adds a positive effect to the series. The only downside to this book was how similar part of the storyline was to "Kurt's honour". Still, this is definitely a series I would recommend reading, and I'm absolutely going to check out the next book.

I don't think I've ever been as committed to an uncompleted series as I am to this one. Usually I'll read a book from a series and have to wait for the next one to come out, but by that time I've plum forgot about it and am off reading something else. This isn't the case with The Brotherhood Series. I'm prepared to full on stalk (in a good way) Jade Thorn until I see another release! I love her characters and I can't get enough of Grace, Kurt, Levi, and Elliot! Grace is by far my favorite female character in any book that I've ever read. She's definitely unforgettable in her humor, whit, sassiness, and strength. I keep getting surprised by her capabilities as her powers manifest and grow. As for the guys, they have so much going on. There are times when I hate them but plenty more where I love them. I can't wait for the next book to see if Levi finally gets his act together! I'm so glad that this will be a long series.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Levi's Book
Reviewed in Canada on July 10, 2021
Was a non ending... Levi's story is left incomplete with things still up in the air between Grace Levi and Kurt. Levi's story was mostly explained but no resolution was found and Grace is still left clueless. The relationship has not progressed much through 3 books, but we meet Elliott in person and spend most of the book fighting demons and deities. I did enjoy the deepening relationships around Grace and her personal growth as she faces more obstacles. Still SO MUCH unresolved... well written, I enjoyed the story development -- was just hoping for more depth... superficial installment with some internal insights to understand why Levi is so angry and preggers to remain distant from Grace and any female.
