This book definitely has a slow burn love story, that builds into something beautiful. Also you will see how love helped the main female character come over her blood resentment.     We also discover she's a privileged society woman who does not like her new living arrangement and an aversion to the sight of blood... seeing she needs that in order to survive...period. after 2 weeks of not feeding...she could be called Casper.
