    Wow. Light Unfolding / Wings of Artemis Book 8 is a great thrill ride. If you have not yet started The Wings of Artemis A Reverse Harem Science Fiction Romance series, then you are certainly missing a phenomenal, exciting and captivating series. This is book 8 in the series, OMG this book focus on with Waverly, Ari, Jackson, Rohan, and Canyon. Waverly is a Sandler and a nurse who has been abused by her father all her life. Rohan and Canyon are considered super soldiers, Jackson is covered in tattoos, but he can fix anything that is broken. Ari is one of the finest doctor, through he feels he is broken, but to Waverly they are her Time Warriors.Through each of them have a torrid past but when they meet Waverly they know, their attraction is love. The sexual tension sizzles as the four of them get to know and fall in love together. Oh my I just absolutely enjoy reading Rebecca Royce Reverse Harem books, I'm just blown away if you have told me a few years ago that I would absolutely enjoy reading Reverse Harem Romance book I probably would have laughed so hard, but the books written by Rebecca Royce are such a pleasurable books to read. Oh what another blazing hot read with such captivating, exciting and incredible characters that Ms. Royce has created. Reading a this futuristic approach is a great change, which is one I always welcome when it does presents itself. Rebecca Royce descriptions are always on point and awesome, her characters to me are alluring, incredible and funny. So many times they have me laughing and on the edge of my seat, it's such a real treat to read.
    If you enjoy romantic suspense novels and have not yet started this series, what are you waiting for? As a fan of Rebecca Royce's paranormal romances I'm always on the lookout for any her books, because her characters are well sculpted and readers like myself will always be keen to follow them as they evolve throughout the story. Although they all may not be on the same level as some, this is a well-written, interesting book about When Waverly Sandler travel across time and space, where she unexpectedly lives in exile on a planet that has already been destroyed. In addition to this aspect, the world that is created of this relationship just as it unfolding. There is a lovely and enjoyable end without a cliffhanger so this can be a stand-alone novel, but there is so much more to be revealed as this series continues. This story has so much more about this series to enjoy that I will reread it a number of times. Rebecca Royce's gift for storytelling and backstory infuses the tale with a life of its own. The pacing is fast and the story is well-structured with chapters that end with an irresistible invitation to the reader to move to the next one. The prose is characterized by a singular beauty and an economy of word that will please the reader. The overall story is balanced and the scenes are beautifully written and focused. I also enjoyed the fact that the author spares her readers unnecessary dialogues and focuses instead on creating powerful images for her readers. The scenes are action-packed and each of them unveils a layer of character development. This is a gripping story that readers would love to see on the big screen. I enjoyed the writing, the great characters, the conflict and the intensity of the action in this epic fantasy.

    Just....WOW!!!! it's currently 2:30am, and I *just* finished this book (which is the follow up to DARK DEMISE). I literally could NOT put this down until I reached the end.....for now *wink*. My word, Waverly and her amazing guys certainly had to duck, bob, weave and use every trick in their collective arsenals in this one. In fact, I'd say of all these books this one had the most BLEEP happen to this particular loved up unit. Not that Melissa, Paloma or Diana and their men didn't go through MASSIVE amounts of sticky situations in their books....but my goodness some major stuff happened to our Wavy girl in this....as if she hadn't ALREADY endured enough? OODLES of action, timeline craziness galore, evil empires, nuts daddy, and lots more I'm not gonna spoil *wink*.... This is the second of Waverly's books....true to form each fierce female gets two books of their very own, which leads to the next book. Of course with each consecutive story we always get to see our faves so don't think this is the last of Waverly.....especially as it looks like a whole lotta stuff is going to be going down. I for one am curious to see what all this surprise time travel for Waverly has done to her on a genetic level....keep in mind she wasn't coded to travel when she suddenly my vanished into the past alone (read DARK DEMISE)...in this book she keeps having thoughts and "daydreams"....could they be more significant than she thinks? One thing still held true in this BRILLIANT read....through everything thrown at them...Waverly and her loves became that much closer if that's even possible 😊....and the story is still led by an awesome, strong willed, intelligent and resourceful female. If this is your first book in this series, I HIGHLY suggest at least reading the previous book, DARK DEMISE first so you have a better understanding of Waverly and and all the dynamics. It's not 100% necessary to real all the books in this series, but I will say other than being HIGHLY entertaining and addictive, you have a far better understanding of all the players. This series has a way of grabbing hold of you and not letting go. I for one am already eagerly looking forward to the next in this series to see what happens to Waverly and everyone else....and yes, as usual we are left on some kind of cliffhanger...but it's so very worth it!! . You have been warned.

    Let me say now that if you haven't read Book 7 'Dark Demise' go read it first. This book takes over where that one left off.

    I can't imagine being sent back in time, let alone to a place that doesn't exist anymore in my own time. Knowing what's going to happen and being trapped there, for Waverly, was devastating. She kept hinting but no one would believe her.

    When the Artemis shows up with a very different Melissa Anderson on board she was shocked by the difference between the one she knows and the one she faces off with.
    Worse though is when her husbands find her and are racing against time to save her.

    Waverly had been sent back in time with a device, now they were headed home through the black hole. Of her husbands, only Cannon hadn't welcomed her, there was a problem.

    Ari with Jackson and Waverly's help goes about solving Cannon's problem. This was intense, bring on the sniffling again.

    The love shines through with every interaction between Waverly and her husbands.

    A discovery in the black hole could mean the end of their world, but Waverly does something with the aid of her men that may change that, or may not.

    Of course her father is still out there causing havoc along with the Evander corporation.

    I did a lot of crying in this one but damn if I wasn't smiling and saying Oh yeah by the end.

    It seems the next book could be extremely interesting, I can't wait!

    How can FATE be so cruel, to be given a little slice of happiness only to have it stolen from you.

    Waverly Sanders has been thrust back in time, to a planet that is doomed to die i the very near future from a bombing. How is this fair,to find her true loves and then be stolen away from them. She meets new friends that she knows are going to die and there is nothing she can do to save them or herself. She also sees some very familiar faces that have not yet met her.

    This book is packed with plot twists galore, portraying emotions of happiness, sadness and with a bit of revenge thrown in for good measure. Fantastic writing as always from R R, keep up the good work.
