    Wonderfully written book, with everything a romance reader could want! I could not put it down once I started reading it, and read straight thru to the very end. When I heard about this book and read the blurb, I could not wait for it to hit my Kindle.
    I love the way Ms. Chase got into the nitty gritty of both Piper and Logan’s lives. The way she gets into the guts of her characters. Her characters are real, with all of their strengths and weaknesses.
    Logan is the youngest of the Blackthorne clan, and as such is always thought of as the baby. Logan is the easy-going member of the Blackthorne clan. He is determined to learn everything possible about every single entity of the Blackthorne empire and believe me there are a lot of different pots. His family, especially his father Graham Blackthorne think he does not have the motivation to pick a career within the corporation. The problem is, Logan wants to run it all!! Logan is will be filling in for the manager of the Vault the family’s restaurant, when he goes on vacation. Logan realizes there is a new face on the staff, a new waitress, and definitely likes what he sees. When she comes up to place an order, he starts talking to her.
    Piper has come home to spend time with her father after being away at college for so long. She has finally graduated with her master’s degree in game design, and she is darn good at it. She has offers from several companies. The problem with working with them, is they will take possession of any game she designs, including the popular game she has already designed. On the other hand, some of her friends from college are creating a new company and have invited her to join them. The problem with this option, they have no business experience. So, while she is home for the summer she is working at the Vault, while she makes some decisions regarding her future. The Vault is where she runs into Logan again, and darn, he is still fiiiine!!!! And, he is hitting on her!! Sigh! Then, the balloons deflate, he asks what her name is. And so, it begins, the chase, Logan is determined to find out who she is. Then Charlie, the manager comes over and calls her by name. Piper!?!
    I loved watching these two reconnect, and first becoming friends, and then lovers. I really enjoyed watching Piper and Logan finish growing into the people the become. I do not want to give any of the story away, so I will stop there.
    I was given a copy of the wonderful book for my reading pleasure, and to give my opinions on what I thought of the book.

    Logan—- let’s meet Logan and Piper, this is book six of a seven book series by various authors. No offense to the others but personally Logan is my favorite to date!!! Logan to me is the stubborn and very smooth talking almost as smooth as the whiskey their family makes talker/playboy. And with the family business affording him the life’s luxuries they all love so much he’s in no hurry to settle down. Logan is the youngest Blackthorne and with 6 other Blackthornes who are slowly but surely falling for equally strong women Logan has to wonder what’s in his future. Especially being the youngest of the bunch. And when he unexpectedly sees an employee of the families daughter, Which by the way he used to spend most of his summers with he’s jaw hits the floor because quite frankly Piper is all grown up and he’s stunned to say the least. However, Piper sees his playboy style of living, the fast cars, etc and she’s not one to be another notch on a bed post. She feels friendship is the most that she will be able to give Logan. And quite frankly Logan seems to feel the same way. Both Piper and Logan don’t shy away from hard work which is a quality Logan likes. And she knows Logan is the same way a very hardworking no nonsense man, at least in outward business appearances. But Piper also knows Logan is a charmer. And she has to keep telling herself friends is all they will ever be. And quite frankly Logan seems to be on the same page when it comes to this subject. Until one day Logan and Piper begin to suspect the friendship they thought they shared has turned into far more than that. But are Logan or Piper even prepared to give up the lifestyles they currently have? Piper is constantly afraid of failure even in her love life, she’s quiet. Her fear of failure is massive. Whereas Logan just takes it and runs with it. Failure isn’t an option in his eyes. Piper also wonders if Logan will ever be able to give up his past playboy lifestyle. But when the two of them are together it’s pure and simple fireworks. But as we all know fireworks can fade away. Will Logan and Piper be able to keep the flames burning and stay with just one another or will life just get in the way and slowly smolder their relationship fire out?

    What happens when the youngest Blackthorne has spent his adult life working all over the Bloackthorne empire but doesn't really feel like he wants to settle into any one job? That is the case for Logan Blackthorne, Samantha Chase's contribution to the Seven Brides for Seven Blackthornes series.
    Logan comes home to Maine to work at the family bar/restaurant while the manager is on vacation. While he's there he meets Pippa. She is the daughter of the Blackthorne's groundskeeper and has grown up with the Blackthorne boys but then she was a girl and now she is a woman.
    Pippa is trying to decide what she wants to do now that she graduated from college. She is a game designer and wants to find a good job but doesn't want to be far from her father.
    Both Pippa and Logan are searching for their future and together they help each other make decisions that will be the best for them. While doing it they fall in love and manage to find a Happily Ever After, not just in love but in life as well.

    Logan is book six in the series about 7 brides for 7 Blackthornes and admittedly I’m a Samantha Chase virgin, having never read any of her work before, but this series drew me in and I wanted to reach the conclusion with Trey next week, so thought I’d give it a go😁

    I’m so happy I did as Logan’s story is slightly different to his brothers and cousins. The other six know where they want to be and what they want to do, whereas Logan has worked in each division with a more hands on approach. Now he’s back in King Harbor looking after the Vault while the manager goes away on his annual vacation when he sees Piper again, not recognising her initially❣️

    Piper is back in King Harbor because she can’t make a decision regarding her future and is hoping for her father’s input. When she starts working at the Vault again, she’s surprised to see Logan bartending but when she realises he doesn’t recognise her...she plays it for all its worth😂

    Very sweet ending and I’m looking forward to the conclusion next week😍
