The Long Road to Us (The Devils Dust MC Legacy Book 2) Kindle Edition
However, his past leaves a thick layer of soot of lost dreams and he’d rather live the life of an outlaw than bother with the semantics of questioning them.
That is until Piper.
Piper’s nightmares dance amongst her footsteps like a bad omen. Her need to be in control and have any man dance at her fingertips gives her the reputation as a tease, but she can’t help herself. The memory of calloused palms bruising her skin fuel her to feel needed and loved by strangers.
Until fate catches up with her and everything is a darkened memory, and the long road to finding out who she was and is, lays in the hands of an outlaw who is anything but a Saint.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2019Piper and Saint is a really entertaining MC romance. It has romance angst, outside conflict, brotherhood banter, and MC family. I enjoyed the pull and take of the romance journey and screamed when I read the last pages! I eagerly await the next book. I had no clue it was ending in such a cliffhanger. It’s shocking. Even with the ending, I really enjoyed the book and hopefully, the next one will be published soon.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2020They story is good, and I'll read the next one, but this one needs some cleaning up. I don't know if English is the author's second language, or is she just needs a better editor. Some words and phrases either didn't translate well, or they just sounded really weird to me. For instance, in the beginning, she mentions "camp colored shorts" and another place she uses the word "cameo" as the color of her outfit, and the type of top Piper's wearing. In another place she says "pedal stool" for pedestal. The grammar isn't bad, just odd words and phrases that distracted me from the story.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2020Oh my gosh, I just want to wrap Saint and Piper up in my arms and never let them go!! From the very beginning you totally feel for them both. Then you get more of them together and I fall in love more. Their chemistry is fantastic, steamy, and they have a great connection. This story is full of action, drama, twists and turns till the very end. It leaves you in a cliffhanger that'll make your scream lol.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2021First, let me say I love MN Forgy’s stories. They are always entertaining as was Saint and Piper’s book. I love her characters and the storylines are always intriguing. In relation to that, I’d give this book 5 stars. My only problem is the editing and grammatical errors. That would get 2 stars in my opinion. The first part of the book isn’t that bad but the further you get the book starts to have errors nearly every few sentences it seems. It makes it very hard to enjoy the story when you are tripped up so much on typos, repetitive sentences, misplaced punctuation and missing words. I hate it because I love these books so much. My only other complaint is Bull. I loved his books and loved his character so much. I did not enjoy his part in this book. It’s a turn off for me because he was such an important part of this world. Ok, back to Saint and Piper. I really did like them. They both had tragic pasts and were really great for each other and their process of healing. Their chemistry was great and their story will keep you interested throughout. I love Big Chief and I hope he sticks around. I didn’t realize the ending would be what it was and that the next book would be a continuation of their story. Or at least, that’s what I am assuming.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2020The devils dust series has long been one of my favorite MC series. This legacy series is something loyal and avid MN Corby readers have been waiting for. This book does not disappoint. I wish the next came out now. The ending left me wanting so much more
*there were a couple typos, but that's not worth taking off a star.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2019I really liked the story but then was feeling a little let down that there was not much action and was going to be a sappy ending. BUT oh boy you don't know how happy I was at the end when it was coming together for all of that to start coming out and to be continued. I know some don't like cliffhangers but I can't wait for it and looking forward to the story getting even better. I love the Devil's Dust series. Keep up the good writing. I am sure the next book will be a 5 star all the way.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2020I don’t even have the words 😩
This book was by far my favorite. I’ve had it stored in my kindle since release day and refused to read it until right before the next one came out since I heard there would be a cliffhanger!
I did not see that one coming and I’ve gotta ask.... really, M.N.? Was that necessary!? 😭😂
Sincerely,
A loyal reader impatiently waiting for the clock to turn 12 so I can see if the next in the series is up yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely loved it
Another awesome book. I absolutely love this authors writing style. The characters are so much more than one dimensional and the storyline keeps twisting and keeping you guessing. Looking forward to the second part.

2.0 out of 5 stars Déçue. Trop de longueur et d'incohérences. Dommage

5.0 out of 5 stars Two broken souls
THE LONG ROAD TO US (Devil's Dust MC Legacy #2)
M.N.Forgy
Piper and Saint
POV:DUAL
Can be read as a standalone.
Part of the Devil's Dust MC, this is the next generations time to shine.
Piper's grown up in the MC world. Before that, her Mother Cherry, her now stepfather Lip and the club removed her from her horrible lifestyle.
Since then, she suffers from anxiety, nightmares, emotionally unavailable and so on. And the only way she thinks she can cope with it is to partying, drinking ect. No one knows about what happened to her apart from Bull.
Will she ever trust anyone with this horrific secret?
Saint grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Until a hit and run killed his baby momma and daughter years previously. He finds solace in the Devil's Dust family as a prospect. He doesn't do relationships or commitment. He's a charmer, a player.
Until Piper.
He's got no business or any right to be interested in a members daughter.
There's nothing wrong with flirting.....right?
When tragedy strikes the club.
How do they all cope?
How will they recover?
Is there a rat amongst the pigeons?
That cliffhanger!!
I need to know what happens next!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Two broken souls
Piper was a hot mess and it was the only way she could cope and survive. She was traumatized as a little girl and once she was able to, she escaped into oblivion. Her constant partying and drinking were a major concern for those who cared about her, but she couldn't stop. Stopping meant thinking and thinking meant dealing and she really didn't want to do that.
Saint had his own demons and while he was being haunted by the ghosts of his past, he dealt with the present. No commitments beyond what he gave to Devils Dust. His pain wasn't something he shared or had overcome and yet he was strangely drawn to the broken girl who would give him more problems he couldn't solve.
A story about two damaged souls is always the makings of an interesting, entertaining, and angsty tale. The Long Road to Us was no exception. Ending with one heck of a cliffhanger, I'm a bit desperate to find out what the heck the author will make happen to these people next. Death is constantly sitting around, waiting for its next victim and after killing the one character who led me down this road, I'm not even sure how to feel at this point. With a heavy heart, I'm looking forward to the conclusion, The Prospect Who Saved Us.
