You can’t escape your past. Not really.
Rory should know. It was just his luck catching the wrong alpha’s eye, especially when he’s the pack Alpha who won’t take no for an answer.
When Rory escaped with his son, he went to the one place he could hide, his baby brother’s new pack. Then he meets Graysen. His mate. He’s everything Rory never knew an alpha could be. Sweet, kind, and caring. But he doesn’t know how to accept what he’s offering.
Can he ever get over his fear and hatred of alphas to trust his fated mate?
Graysen’s finally found his fated mate.
And some other alpha has mistreated him. Rory is frightened, raw, and pregnant. Fate picked one hell of a time to throw them together, but Gray won’t give up.

Can Rory let his guard down long enough to give them a chance?

- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2020I love this Lost Wolves series! The pack dynamic is full & welcoming. Old friends greeted me with open arms. This segment in the saga focuses on Rory, who escaped from an abusive alpha, pregnant & having a 4 year old son; and Graysen, who doesn't expect to find his fated mate in the form of his good friend's brother. He knows Rory is broken, needing to heal. So Graysen will wait. In the meantime, he will bond with Rory's son, and try to earn Rory's trust through actions rather than words. The pull between them is magnetic, not to be denied. When they finally get together, sparks fly. Yes, there are babies. An enemy shows up. But HEA is assured.
This book sets up the plot for the 4th book. Do yourself a favor & read the first two books in order. This series leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for the next book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2020I really enjoyed this well written and very sweet romance. Graysen was very patient and I appreciated how he came to understand and love Rory. Soren was at the end of the story, however, he wasn't quite mentioned throughout the book so I was a bit thrown off about who he was when he had found his mate. I did love the beautiful ending for Rory and Graysen. Nice read.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2020I was completely unprepared for this twist in THE LOST series. The appearance of the brother of one of the original Wolf pack members. And he was not alone. He was both pregnant and had a little boy with him. He had runaway (escaped) an oppressive pack with a dictatorial Alpha whose word was law. Omegas had no say in their destinies. The pack Alpha chose as many as he wanted to bear his cubs.
Sacrificing himself for his brother, meant a lifetime of servitude, cruelty, and forced fatherhood. Escaping the pack and finding his brother did not end all the psychological, emotional, and physical abuse he'd endured. His trauma had been so severe he needed peace, quiet distance, patience, and loving care. Everyone in the Lost Wolves pack was prepared to provide that - except his unexpected fated mate. He felt so conflicted. Compelled, drawn, fighting his Wolf to be with his "mate" but Fate proved to be too much. This was a very entertaining book in the Lost Wolves series.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2022Rory came from a damaged pack. As soon as he got to this pack, he went to his room and stayed. Grayson has to coax him out. Great reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020Rory went through so much to find his HEA. He escaped from a abusive relationship, found his fated mate, and finally stood up to his abuser. This was a great addition to the series, I'm looking forward to reading Soren story next.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2020Healing by Skye Richmond and Skyler Snow is part of The Lost Wolves series. This is a sweet story about finding the strength to trust and love after being mistreated in the past. It has drama but also sweet romance. Greyson is the type of Alpha I like to read about - strong, protective and able to step up and be the man he needs to be and give his mate the time and space he needs. Greyson and Rory have a wonderful lovestory and I fully enjoyed their journey.
I was able to read an advanced copy of this title and am reviewing voluntarily and honestly my own thoughts, opinion and reactions based on that copy.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2021I was drawn in from the very beginning. Rory is broken after surviving abuse at the hands of an unstable alpha. He gets away from the alpha and comes to live with his brother and the brother's new pack.
Graysen recognizes Rory as his fated mate from the start, but he holds back and gives the Omega time to heal. This was a short, sweet, high steam and high sweetness story.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2020I can understand why Rory was so scared and Jacob so protective, but honestly, Jacob knew Grey and he knew better.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book in the series so far...
his series is wonderful. Every new installment is better than the previous one and now this book 3 is undoubtedly the best so far. I enjoyed a lot this story about fate and family witnessing how Rory slowly recovered of the abuse suffered at the hands of the Alpha of his former pack with the help of Graysen, who gained his trust with patience, sweetness and protectiveness. An amazing reading!
