- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI meant to review a few days ago. The line that was truly heartbreaking, a loving moment with a cliff jump that's unforgiving, from the first story. Thank you Paul Blake for that experience.
"Isabelle pulled away and looked into his eyes, ‘I love you, dad, soon I may not remember why, but make sure you do not forget that I do.’"
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseTwo short stories about what women will do for love. Don’t mistake this for your typical romance! The author exercises his writing abilities to display a somewhat chilling and dysfunctional look into the mind.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2018Format: KindleThese stories prove that just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. Thought provoking futuristic snap shots of what might be possible, and what could go wrong. It takes a certain amount of talent to create a well rounded story with few words and these are examples of how it can be done. I wish they were longer!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2018Format: KindleI got this book over on smashwords, but I'll leave a review here too. I can't help but be impressed when the prompt for these stories was so specific. The theme was Women in Love, and the first line had to be, "Not because they have too much mind, but too little," apparently the line is from a book. If I had to write that, where would I go? I don't know, but I think that Blake has come up with out of the box ideas for these two stories. I enjoyed the original concepts and solid writing. I just have to take off one star because there is a bit too much profanity for my taste in the second story, but that's all!
