5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely short story.
I thoroughly enjoyed curling up on a wet cold winter
's afternoon with such a good book. A box of chocolates and a cup of tea. What could be better? I felt like I'd wandered through the story with Jess.
I can recommend this novelette to anyone who enjoys short stories. This is the second of Helen Libby's novelette that I have read, and look forward to reading her next one. I love the way Helen is able to get such a full story into a novelette.

4.0 out of 5 stars My first ever romance read. And I enjoyed it.
Well, I've never read a chick lit / romance book before, so this was a new genre for me, but I enjoyed it! This story follows a commitment-phobic writer, in a romance with her editor! She nearly sabotages her perfect relationship because she's afraid of commitment. While this is going on, she's trying to find her birth mother, having lost her adoptive mother a year earlier. The storyline is true to life most of the time. The main character's commitment-phobia irritated me a bit, but that's how some people are! It's a short read - I read it on a one hour train journey. Probably something that anyone experiencing the same issues as the main character - adoption/commitment issues - might enjoy.
