Loving My Omega (Hobson Hills Omegas Book 9) Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 958 ratings

Sam and Teague have been best friends for years. Now that they are both single, can friendship become more?

Hurting from a break-up, Sam moves home to Hobson Hills to take care of his great-aunt. After a year passes, he realizes the only thing he misses from his life in Seattle is the one man that has always been there for Sam, his best friend, Teague. He doesn't want to leave his friend, but maybe it's time Sam starts thinking of his future. He wants love and a family of his own, and pining after his best friend is a little time consuming.

Teague fully expected Sam to come home once his aunt recovered. When he learns that Sam has made a life of his own in Hobson Hills, Teague has to make some decisions. Sam is the most important person in Teague's life, so what is he willing to do to keep him there?

Quickly, Sam and Teague learn that they are better together than apart. The real question, though, is are they better as friends or lovers?

This is a 38k omegaverse story that includes mpreg, a whole lot of pets, a farmhouse stuck in the seventies, a sassy great-aunt, and several nosy friends who insist they're family.

I have been self-publishing m/m romance since October, 2018 and enjoy sharing my books with readers all over the world. I'm also a reader and I love to read everything I can get my hands on, especially m/m romance. My favorites are mpreg, sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal. I have four series right now.

1). My Hobson Hills Omegas series is light and sweet non-shifter mpreg. They are novella length (35,000-45,000 words) and angst-free.

2). My Blue Solace series is a sci-fi/fantasy romance and has more action and adventure. The romance, however, is still light and sweet. They are longer (40,000-60,000 words).

3). My third series is called The Silver Isles and is a paranormal mermen trilogy. They are also a little longer than Hobson Hills (45,000-50,000 words) and are low heat and light and fluffy.

4). My fourth series is a paranormal, mpreg series of holiday short stories called Holiday Omegas (10,000-14,000 words). The first few stories follow one couple as they meet, fall in love, and develop their relationship.

If you like zero angst, light and fluffy romance, give one of my books a try!

I have read every single book of this series without reading any other books in between. I can say without a doubt that this series was very love, all the characters in it were great, love them all. I'm just glad I don't have that huge family as it would be way to much for me like it was for Noah, just love him.

Loved this addition to the Hobson Hills Omegas series. This book was fun and exciting with sooo many animals even before they opened the sanctuary. There where some problems but they where quickly cleared up. Great fun adventure with a amazing HEA . Love this series.

I took a break from the Hobson Hills series as the stories had started to feel repetitive, and I think that's exactly what I needed. When I returned to the series looking for a break from the complicated stuff, the book gave me exactly what I needed. Short humerous read that's perfect for uplifting your spirits or a great read between other heavier books.

It is always such a pleasure to sink my mind and emotions into the world of a C.W. Gray novel. The characters are always entertaining, be they good guys, bad guys or something in the middle. The animals and pets are also dynamic with personalities all of their own. Loving My Omega is the latest excursion into the Hobson Hills, Maine series. And it did not disappoint.
Sam and Teague! The best friends to lovers trope works well with these two. Sam gets dumped by his 5 year alpha just as he is getting news his Aunt Mia has cancer. What does the Omega do? Rushes back home to Hobson Hills to care for his only remaining family member.
Teague is left behind in Seattle with his Veterinary clinic and desire to establish and animal rescue sanctuary.
I enjoy the predictable plot line in C.W.'s stories because the journey itself is unique to the characters involved. Yes, of course Sam and Teague get together and have their happy ending, but the path leading them there gives me warm and fuzzy feels. It isn't always 100% trouble free, as human beings and their thought processes are very complex, but you know when you finish the book, good things will have happened.
We get to hear about precious characters in stories. We get to hear about potential upcoming stories. And we get to meet new characters to the Hobson Hills town. C.W. Gray has written herself a never ending gold mine of possibilities for stories with all of her mentioned characters. Well done!
This book is just what I needed with all the crazy going on in the country. Keep bringing them on, C.W., and I will keep buying!

I loved returning to Hobson Hills! The small town vibe envelopes you. The people open their arms and their hearts. You will love it here! Sam & Teague have been best friends forever. When Sam returns to Hobson Hills to care for his Aunt Mia, weeks turn into a year. Teague, a veterinarian, & his herd of dogs, cats, birds, need Sam. Did I mention a tortoise named Tortellini, a parrot named Morris, and a bearded dragon named...wait for it...Puff. Meddling Dad's force Teague to admit he loves Sam. So he does the only thing he can do: he sells his practice, moves his whole herd to Hobson Hills, and establishes his animal rescue sanctuary.
Yes, HEA is assured, once our men stop being idiots. On their way there, they will deal with family angst, an alphahole ex, new friends, and lots of new animals, including goats in pajamas! You are gonna love this book!
If you like your men hot, your sex hotter, and always HEA, read the rest of the Hobson Hills series. You will be glad you did.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

CW Gray’s books are pure sugar rush & isn’t that just a lovely way to pick up an over-tired day? Sam & Teague’s brand of obtuseness was delightful & when the inevitable happened & they got together it was cherry candy sweet. I love these stories for many reasons, but my primary reason for loving this book in particular is the little smile that won’t leave my face, even as I leave this review.

Good job, Gray. You did it again.

I think "Loving My Omega" really reaaaaaaaaally is my absolute favorite of the Hobson Hills Omega's series. Animals! So many lovely little animals I truly just wanted to hop into this book and hug them all. And do not get me started on Sammie and Tee..... They were so beautiful together. I wanted to hug them to lol. I honestly felt like I was right there with them. I can't wait to read more Hobson Hills books. I'm here to stay for as long as they continue to be written......let's be honest.... C.W. Gray gas a brilliant mind and I'm pretty much taking up residence in this little world :)

I was expecting Sheriff's book next, so I was pleasantly surprised to find Sam's story instead. All the animals were adorable and so was Sam's mate. (can't spell his name for the life of me, lol)

I never have laughed so much in a book like I did with this one. I have to say this is probably my one of my favourites in this series so far. I hope we see more of the characters mentioned in this book.

This is another funny and light book in the Hobson Hills series written by C.W. Gray. Of course with loads of animals, a baby, an ever expanding family, a HEA and no angst. It delivers what it says on the 'tin'. If you like a quick, light read this is your book. You can read it as a standalone, but you get more out of the story if you read the other books in the serie.
