About Brina Brady

From the streets of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, where I ruled as the eldest of five siblings, my life’s journey has been an adventure. After marrying my partner, we started a family and welcomed three amazing daughters into our lives. In 1973, the waves called, and we answered—moving to the sun-kissed beaches of sunny Huntington Beach, California. It was a dream come true.

Later, I married my loving second husband, and when family called, we packed up and headed to Indiana. Retirement opened a new chapter for me, filled with the laughter of my four adorable grandchildren and the company of two sweet cats. It’s a life full of love and completed goals.

For twenty-seven years, I taught at a Continuation High School in Los Angeles, California, where I shared my passion for learning with my students. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Secondary Social Science Credential, and a master’s degree in Secondary Reading and Secondary Education from California State University, Long Beach. I also took creative writing classes at UCLA, which helped fuel my love for storytelling.

Speaking of storytelling, I’ve been hooked on it since I was a kid. As a child, I’d spend Saturday afternoons writing novels while sipping on my grandmother’s homemade, comforting chicken soup. Even as a busy stay-at-home mom, I made time to write every day—it was my escape and my joy. Later, while teaching, I kept writing, though the demands of the classroom meant I had less time to devote to it.

Today, I’m a contemporary romance author who loves writing LGBTQ+ stories. My books often explore complex relationships and emotional journeys, with several series diving into BDSM dynamics. I also write MM romance without BDSM themes, focusing on engaging plots, well-developed characters, and plenty of steamy moments.

When I’m not writing, I’m indulging in my other passions. I’m an avid reader, always getting lost in new worlds and characters. I also love graphic design, where I get to blend art and technology to create something beautiful. And when it’s time to relax, I’m hooked on Turkish TV series—their rich stories and cultural depth totally captivate me. Each of my hobbies reflects my love of creativity, storytelling, and exploring new horizons.

This story is so good. How 2 people from different families find happiness together. Ben and Mishka are so good together and Mishka's Dad and his love for his family are special. After being disowned by his family Ben finds a new and better family that loves and supports him. This is such a good series. Can't wait for more. Brina Brady is a awesome writer. Can't get enough!

This was one hell of a fantastic, poignant, powerful, dangerous, intense, raw, gritty, action packed, kinky, smoldering, grab-you-by-the-feels, nail biting, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, thrilling, and totally awesome story. Miska and Ben's journey to their HEA ending was anything but smooth, and it has me hooked from beginning to end. I would recommend getting this marvelous gem immediately.

I loved this story. The Chernovs and the Banetti family have been back and forth for years. After Ben's father disowns him because of his relationship with Mishka. He finds it strange he father wants to see him. Sal tells Ben he Mishka had his Uncle murdered and wants Ben to leave Mishka. Ben's life is being threatened and he flees to California despite Kylan telling him to talk to Mishka. Events both good and bad happen. But will Mishka and Ben survive and hold their family together despite the odds?

I listened to this audiobook after having read the series, and Raymond Zaver does an excellent job with the performance here. He brings all the characters to life and that let me enjoy the story in a whole new way. Ben and Mishka are wonderful characters put in an almost Romeo and Juliet like situation between their two mafia families. Ben's family does everything it can to keep them apart, but fortunately Mishka has determined never to give up. He must get that from his father, Shurik, who is my favorite character in this series. Together, Mishka and Ben generate off the charts heat. I can't wait to listen to the final book in the series in audio.

Ben has had no contact with anybody in the Banetti family since his father disowned him for being in a relationship with Mishka, so he's shocked and worried to receive a text from his father demanding he goes to his fathers office in New York City for three pm that day, it can't be for anything good...nothing good for him anyway!
Mishka meets him at the café immediately after he received the text and when only moments after arriving, he receives a text himself and leaves in a hurry looking worried, Ben is concerned, are the two texts connected?
There has been a death and Ben's father is blaming Mishka, Ben's life is at risk and it's important that he stays out of the City, while Ben is staying with Mishka he finds out that both his condo's have been targeted, and more violent deaths have occured. Ben panics and goes away with Kylan to California, but trouble follows them there.
Ben phones Mishka upset about what has happened and Mishka tells him he's on his way. The rest of Mishka's family join them in California, and Mishka's father continues to look into things and try to broker a deal with Ben's father.
The trouble continues with Ben's family and the danger to Ben remains, who is behind all the trouble, the attacks, killings...all of it?
They will never be able to relax and enjoy a future together unless they can find out what is going on and stop who is behind it all.
This story is action packed and full of drama and I can't wait to find out the truth behind it all. Not a book you can put down once you start reading!.
