Lucien is a heated, fated-mates MM paranormal romance with an HEA and no cliffhanger. It contains a morally grey, obsessive vampire with anger management issues and the bright, playful human who might just match him in possessive romantic tendencies. It also contains steamy scenes between two men, and the moderate violence (and mentions of blood) that one might expect from a vampire romance. This book can be read as a standalone, but the series is best enjoyed in order (it is especially recommended to read book one first).

    I wasn’t looking forward to Luc’s book all that much, but of course it’s my favorite of the series thus far! Grae did such a wonderful job redeeming Lucien and giving him the perfect mate in Jamie. I adore how obsessed with each other they are. So cute. This series just seems to get better with each book.     I have been so excited for Lucien’s book since book 1. It was worth the wait.

    Jamie was the perfect mate for Lucien. Jamie has been have visions of Lucien (Dream Guy) since he was 18. He has been waiting for him ever since. Lucien has been wanting a mate since he found out about them centuries ago.

    I loved Jamie and he accepted everything about Lucien. I loved how he was all in from the first time he saw Lucien in real life. How Jamie talked right to Lucien’s monster was so sweet and how his monster listened and responded to Jamie was so so sweet! 🥰 I really loved Lucien’s possessiveness and protection of Jamie. ❤️ The ending was perfect!

    So, I started this book at like, 11 PM and meant to only start it, but I definitely just read the whole thing and went to bed far later than I should have, since I had to come to work this morning. No regrets.

    I LOVE a morally gray antihero, and both Lucien and Jamie were perfect. Lucien learns to trust himself again, and Jamie encourages him in everything. And I mean everything. Fabulous.

    This one was a little more violent than the others have been, but still not graphic. Jamie is a vivacious and openhearted companion to closed-off Lucien, and might be my favorite pairing so far! On to book 4!

    I'm not surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I've liked Lucien's character since Roman's story, seeing the pain he carried beneath hus violence. This story was very well done, showing all the layers and pieces of Lucien and how he ended up the way that he did. I love how Jamie is perfect for him in every way, accepting him as he is instead of trying to change Lucien to be something else. This is definitely a villain gets the love interest kind of story and I loved it. They complimented each other so well, with just the right amount of emotions and angst to make their chemistry obvious. There's plenty of spicy bits and drama, and a space for previous. characters which was required for Lucien's story to be complete.

    My biggest issue with these books is still consistent. The 3rd person POV still creates that distance between readers and the characters. It's pretty good despite that but I feel it would have been better in 1st.
    Few minor potential TWs and lots of MM spice so 18+. I'll be moving on to the next book, mostly bc I want to know about Jay. He's adorable and also has many layers that haven't been mentioned so far.

    I loved this book! I wasn't super sure if I would because I didn't really like Lucien in the first book of this series but damn was I wrong. This was such a steamy yet sweet story. I loved getting to know more about what made Luc the way he is and Jamie and such an amazing character! I will probably read this again after I finish the series, which I don't do rereads often. The spice was so good and lots of it and the story line was wonderful and interesting to follow. I can't wait to read the next one with sweet Jay!

Morally grey, yes, but fundamentally he is lonely and has been searching for his mate for a very long time. He had thought he found her and when he lost her that broke him. When his mate turns out to be a psychic, green-haired punky young guy who seems as though he is expecting him, and more than that - has been waiting for him, Luc is taken off guard.

    I didn't read the first book in the series, and honestly, I'm ok with that.
    Danny and Roman are really fund characters, but sometimes you're not in the mood for cinnamon rolls. That being said I enjoyed Soren and Lucien was definitely my favorite. I love how ready for anything Jamie is, I loved his family connection and pretty much all of the characters involved were great.

    I'm also SUPER excited for Johann. Who doesn't love a big dumb baby?
