    It's an urban fantasy and the way she implements the fantasy world into the real world was interesting I did like it. I both liked and hated the FMC and same with the MMC. I did not feel their full personalities matched up. There was some character traits that just did not add up with how they where. And I struggled to connect with them. The lore and trope was interesting and I might consider reading the next books because the lore and trope.

    Wow. Eliza Raine is just freaking spectacular. This gives a whole new meaning to slow burn. Wow. Slow burn into a super nova. The characters are flawed but not excessively so and the storyline is soooooooo good. I did NOT see the twist coming. Wow. Just wow. This book was billed as a millionaire romance but that is just a small sliver. This is mythology, religious dieties, supernatural creatures of all kinds, humans, good and evil, and so much more. I have loved this authors work for some time now but I am just blown away at how good this is!

    I'm on to book two now. I'm obsessed, much like Nox is with our sweet Beth, and I have to find out what happens next!

    I picked this book up at random while flicking through the kindle library and I’m glad I did,

    While there is a vulnerable side to Beth and a sense of innocence she isn’t portrayed as pathetic or weak which is a refreshing change, to often authors write there heroines as weak or clueless and it’s frustrating as hell,
    Nox (devil) is a nice blend of protective but not suffocating or as a lot of male leads at the minute quite frankly chauvinistic .

    They blend really well and the story line is meaty enough that it isn’t boring an at the same time it’s not complicated, so it’s a great read if u want something that’s not hard to follow.

    Book one is mostly about finding Sarah’s killer to clear Beth’s name but the back ground stories are twisted within an will be in the following books, the stage was well set and the ending was enough to make me purchase the next straight away
