Making Her Mine (The Callahans Book 6) Kindle Edition
Beck Callahan.
Star defensive Lineman. Most popular boy on campus.
The ideal boyfriend. One of my best friends.
He’s always been off limits because I know a relationship with him could never work. He’s too perfect, too sweet, too good looking. Too important to me.
Taking that next step and blurring the lines between us has the potential to ruin everything, and I just can’t take that risk. So I keep it friendly, always with my feelings locked up tight. We talk, date other people and remain best friends.
Until the beginning of senior year. One night at a party, we get carried away and act on the simmering tension that has always existed between us. It’s a night that I will never forget. Or regret.
And it’s all I can think about. He’s all I can think about.
When Beck confesses he feels the same way, I am both excited and spooked. He says all the right things, and his sweet words make me feel like we were always meant to be.
Now he’s determined to make me his. Should I let him? Or do I risk losing both my boyfriend and my best friend, the most important person in my life?
Making Her Mine is book six in the standalone Callahans series.

Monica Murphy is a New York Times, USA Today and international bestselling author. She writes new adult, young adult and contemporary romance.
She is a wife and a mother of three who lives in central California on fourteen acres in the middle of nowhere, along with their four cats and one crazy dog. - Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2022This series, and especially this book, are really YA romance at it's finest - the sweet longing and insecurities, all that teenage angst, a deep chemistry well beyond their years, and all that first love butterflies and nostalgia. Monica Murphy skillfully captures those angsty teen emotions that twist you into knots! Add in plenty of high school drama, and swoon-worthy romance, and you have one heck of an addictive read. I loved every word.
I loved the sweet friendship and romance between Beck and Addie. I especially loved reading how they grew up together, and ultimately their romantic journey in high school. They are both super likable characters - and their chemistry is both sweet and charming. We have fun flirty vibes that evolve into a deeper emotional connection, and even though their path to romance has it’s setbacks, I genuinely adored how these two showed up for each other. Addie shines with her resilience and strength, and Beck wows as one dreamy book boyfriend.
I loved this addition to the Callahan universe! It was a love story that effortlessly blended sweet sweet heat and heartfelt emotion. Overall, Making Her Mine is a fun, quick, heartwarming story that ticked all my boxes. It is without a doubt another feather in this author's cap!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2024I didn’t think it possible…every single book (save Joslyn & Diego) was better that the last! This one takes the cake. Yes, I know everyone loves Eli and Ava best (& they ARE pretty awesome!!) but I think these two are officially my fav. They are the epitome of teenaged crushes and awkwardness. Loved every minute.
I also listen, same narrators as each book before so they rocked it as always. They have a certain energy and nuances at times adding more drama, angst…ALL the feels. I couldn’t get enough.
All in all a great end to the High School era. I’m currently reading All My Kisses?? About some of the kids THESE guys had and I’m so excited. 😆 Hannah and Jake’s wedding is next and I can’t wait to see everybody. Monica Murphy has done it again. This series will stick with me for a LONG time! This world will, and it all started way back at One Week Boyfriend.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2024This book was great!! Giddy and even some happy tears at the end! Loved it!! The best I have read lately!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2022This was a brilliant storyline. I loved Beck and I am thrilled Monica wrote his storyline. However, the Eli and Ash type alpha-hole character traits was missing and it was super slow burn. I will also compliment that finally the H just fessed up when he made a reckless bet and I actually loved that. Would read again but missing elements that the Callahan's usually give us. Diego'a story lacked a lot of romance. I felt Becks story really delivered on Romance . Really felt the connection between Beck and Adds.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2023Seriously he is so sweet. As caring as Drew with out all the horrible past and definitely you can see Fable in him. One thing about these Callaghans: when they love they really love permanently. This was a light hearted fun romance. Although at one point I got really angry thinking we visited one of those football team/high school traditions so many writers use in stories but I kept reading. If you get there refer to the part where I say Beck is the sweetest Callahan and trust it.
One Callahan book left. Moving on to that.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2022I been waiting on Becks story and it delivered. Bacon is sweet and adorable. Eddy was super innocent. The story was cute with very little drama. But it does kinda end incomplete. No idea what the future holds for them after high school but most likely happily ever after. Was expecting more drama from Liam and maybe even Marcus and Monique but that felt flat. Also wanted more of the other challahan clan. But like I said the story is cute and super sweet
- Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2022I enjoy spending time with the Callahan’s. Beck and Addy delivered all the angst and emotion as they navigate the trials and tribulations of high school. For Addy, I was impressed with her ability to stick to what she wanted even when others pressured her to take a different path. Beck has that quiet confidence but even he finds himself unsure when it comes to love. These two had a great friendship growing up but it’s funny how you fear wrecking that relationship even when your heart and head tells you this person is the one. They both had to deal with friends that weren’t really always acting like good friends. Of course, isn’t that what happens in real life. I truly felt immersed in their world and wanted to hang out with them on a Friday night.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2022My heart is so full of swoon for Beck Callahan and Addison Douglas. Best friends since grade school. Addie or Adds seemed to be present in Becks life as a dear friend. But, after entering middle school their feelings for one another changes. It's nice to see Beck's own insecurities in the correct steps to let Addie know he's true feelings for her. As classmates, they always got along, easy to talk to. Fun to be around. Anyways, i loved reading how sweet Beck is towards Addie and having her finally realizing how she didn't see the blantan hints he dropped of his feelings. But, beck's feelings are much stronger and hopefully Addie feels the same way with him. It was nice to see all of the Callahan family mentioned through out the book. Especially, Jake and Hannah. Ah...love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars ahhhh young live 🧡🧡
Ahhh young love **sigh** trust the youngest Callahan to be so smooth and honest. Addie and Becks are just 2 peas in a pod and this was such a beautiful story which stayed true to what we’ve come to know Becks and Addie to be.
Bittersweet reading MHM as you know it’s the end for the Callahan Crew 😭😭 (EXCEPT FOR THE wedding!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!)
Highlight is that wedding why the secrecy and it such a long time coming I cannot wait.

4.0 out of 5 stars not as much spice
Great read, was a little strange reading about beck as a young man when he’s always been the little kid but still a good book. Not as spicy a pervious books but great to read about the gang again. Bring on the wedding!!!
