Andrew Thomas was born in Middlesbrough, UK, but grew up in Zambia, and South Africa. He returned to England in his twenties to join the Parachute Regiment and served with the Second Battalion for four years.
His journey into writing began as a series of blog posts before his imagination led to him creating the complex character of Kalila Grey, an agent within a secret British government agency that uses time travel to undertake vital missions of national security.
Andrew now collaborates with Dianne Harman, an Amazon charts number one seller, and USA Today bestselling author, on the absorbing Gabriella Hunt cozy mystery series. He also has a love for ultra-running, which is how his guide on quitting smoking came to life.
Expect to see plenty of solos and collaborated cozy mysteries coming your way soon, not to mention more intriguing short stories and further fascinating missions from Kalila Grey! Maybe another dangerous character with a mysterious past too...

- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2023This is a reasonably well written mystery. It is believable. The good people are good people but not perfect, and the bad people are not total villains. The locations are interesting and fit the plot.
On the other hand, it is not one of the most riveting mysteries that I have read, nor is it such a well written book that I would use it as an example of great writing in an English class or a creative writing class, unlike some of the mysteries that are written by other authors. So I rated this book four stars rather than five stars. I am a tough critic because I think that extremely well written books should be rated higher than books that are merely worth quickly reading once.
Dianne Harman has written several books that I have rated five stars but most of the books that she has written with Andrew Thomas did not appeal to me quite as much. Perhaps it is more difficult for two authors to write a book together and still fine tune the writing. I have never read anything that I remember was just written by Andrew Thomas, so I don't know how I would rate a book that he wrote alone.
I will continue to enjoy other books that these authors published together, and I expect that I will find ones that even a picky reviewer like me will give five stars to.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2023Fascinating but a little unbelievable. It seems to me that the second murderer would not confess. He had no reason to go to jail because the killing was righteous.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2023The mystery is one with a surprise, unexpected ending. The plot is sufficiently convoluted and is complemented by well fleshed-out characters that make the story interesting.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2023What can I say… always good story lines and interesting characters! I love all her books😊😊
- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2023Ella Hunt must go to the Cosmos Hotel in Las Vegas on hotel business, inviting Luke Falconer along it was to be a business vacation trip. What it turned out to be was investigating a murder in the hotel. A bride after moments after saying “I do” is pushed from the 17th floor to her death. This 4th book in the series will have you guessing who pushed the bride and later murdered her sister. Love the recipes at the end of the book.
