    This is the second book of Gods of Vegas Series. It's base on the second brother. As much as I love Hagen, I think I enjoy book 2 more than book 1. This book is packed with a lot of plots and backgrounds, but it's well done. Somehow, I was able to get who's who, unlike the first book. I don't want to give out too much cause I'll probably spoil it. There's this one part in the book that hit me right in the feels. Tears just started falling. It was beautiful.⁣

    Pierce and Amelia are legit fire. They're into kinky stuff. 😏 I just love Pierce so much. He is so swoon-worthy. He is short temper, gets jealous very easily, and a total dominant. Might not sound appealing much, but once you read it, you'll fall for him. Lol. His love for Amelia is still strong even when she hurt him. I have to say Amelia is the FIRST heroine I read that's a MMA fighter. Something new and different. I like it. She's a really strong, independent, and sassy woman. They had a history that didn't end on good terms. After 10 years, they met each other again due to business. All their secrets will be revealed one after another. Can't wait to read about Zack next.⁣

    Loved this story. It was heart breaking. I felt so bad for pierce. He lost so much. Yes it was through none of his control but his Olympian career imploded when Amelia left him and had to go to rehab. Then the relationship with his father that was ripped fork him due to Draco. Then the loss of raising his son for the last 9-10 years. Yes she had to protect her parents and leave but I’m sorry I don’t have any sympathy for Ame. She could have picked up a damn phone and called Pierce and told him about Christopher when she knew she was pregnant. Regardless about Stavros. Or at any time in the last 9 years. She stole that from him and regardless of how much I like her as a person and love them together that is unforgivable. Only wish that we got more clarification on Draco helping Sylvia deal with Astros or at least maybe prove he was behind Stavros’ death. Can’t wait for Zacks book. Hopefully he will learn about all his father sacrificed for him and things will be mended.

I just knew I had to read the stories of all the Lakaois brothers...book 2 did not disappoint...the heroine, Amelia and Pierce were as intriguing as they were hot together. I love a strong and vulnerable female and male lead! Also getting to read abt the other characters throughout is a plus...will be reading book 3 in 3, 2, 1. I just found this author because of the freebies the romance world does to reel you in (love it) and she is now one of my faves after only 2 books. Will be reading all her books. Must also say her diverse characters are a plus for me as well.

    While the storyline is good and I enjoyed reading it, there is no angst and everything is over without anything happening. He found out he was a dad and within a chapter he was ok with it and trying to get back with her. The son was told who his dad was and that transition was like oh ok, he knows already. Trouble over in Greece, no problem she goes there a few days and all is right with the situation. Very smooth and no drama.
