    I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book mainly because I wanted to get to know Lucinda, the spoiled rich girl who just made cameos in the previous books. And the girl was a major surprise!!! I’ll just give one little spoiler away because I can’t help it - she is a big time stalker 😂 I loved that so much!!! The story is a continuation from the previous books but can still be read on its own. It is so much better if you read at least book 2 though. Lots of twists and turns, especially toward the end. I’m now sad that we only have one sibling left so only one more book to go…

    A sexy page turner with delicious characters in the bratty rich girl and the older alpha detective. This is a continuation of the series based on the Astor family. Uber rich folks with a penance for opposites. Dad Landry was first up in a fabulous age gap romance that introduced the family which included not only hot dad but his three children and a crazy ex wife. The kids have morphed from not so nice rich brats into commanding adults and that includes the youngest and only daughter Lucinda who is the star of this story. She’s grown up and changed her ways mostly due to tragic events in her life. One event has her meeting the hot detective Savage Chenault. What a sexy beast! Alpha, fierce, hardened and 30 years older than Lucinda. Their attraction is hot right from the start but it takes a year or so and some stalking before the two meet up again. Lucinda is in a terrible position that includes danger, manipulation and blackmail. She reaches out to the sexy detective for help and he delivers. A not so fake marriage turns up the heat between the two when they join forces to take down Lucinda’s enemy. Their relationship is the stuff of her dreams as the hunky Savage dominates Lucinda in a panty melting way. It’s hot, hot, hot! The danger ramps up when a tie between Lucinda’s problems and Savage’s case is found with an intriguing BDSM element. Lucinda’s horrible mother is in the mix too. It’s a nasty cast of evil characters when the action turns deadly and lives are at risk. The romance is sizzling and the suspense has a few surprises with our couple in peril. The author took some liberties with the business elements of the story and a few other things but they didn’t really affect my enjoyment of the story. Overall this was a fast paced romance suspense that kept my attention with a hot couple caught in a fake marriage that turns into more. I like this Astor family and their rich people drama. This is a wonderful addition to the sexy series and I look forward to the next installment. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

    Hayley has done it again. I simply loved this book. I could not put it down.
    Lucinda is the baby of the Astor family. She is spoiled and trying to find her place in the world Detective Savage is the fine, good looking man she met when he assisted when she was attacked. He's so fine and hot she becomes obsessed with him she becomes his stalker.
    There is more craziness that happens and that is when the fake marriage happens and their feelings becomes stronger and there is drama and hot sex. This was so fun to read.

    We had met both Lucinda and Savage in earlier books. Lucinda has been having a rough time finding her place in life. Her mother is evil and serving time in jail for what she had tried to do to Lucinda and since then Lucinda has been just sort of floating along in her life. Savage, the police detective involved in her case serves as an obsession for her and she has been stalking him for a while. Savage, almost as old as her father, is also somewhat obsessed with Lucinda but plans to keep his distance. However, things come to a head when Lucinda needs his help to protect her and they get married to achieve this goal.

    This was a steamy age gap but you kept turning pages trying to figure out what was going on and how they were going to resolve all the problems. Parts of this were almost over the top, but it's also what keeps it fun and engaging. Can't wait to read Lawrence's story!

    This is the third book in this impressive series and is Savage and Lucinda’s story. Lucinda is the baby of the Astor family, and first appearances show a spoilt and pampered heiress, but in reality, she is struggling to find her own identity. Savage is a hardcore police detective, who has been married, divorced, and is completely focused on his career. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable, and they enter into a fake marriage. Will Lucinda be able to convince Savage that the age difference in immaterial? This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, engaging, and with suspense, danger, emotions, betrayal, torture, action packed, and with twists and love, which leads to an entertaining and thrilling riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
