    Magnum's book was very emotional. His love for Cait was long time in the making. He was drawn to her from the get go however the age difference and his loyalty to his MC kept him from pursuing her. The DAMC and the DKMC were allies and he didn't want to rock the boat and cause a war. So his secret desire for Cait was just that. Until she came to him for help. Cait not wanting to get her dad Dawg and "D" involved she went to the only other person she trusted. Great read, there is a trigger so beware of that. If you are affected by the mention of rape this is a warning. Cait was Magnum's Princess in shining armor LOL. She went after what she wanted and won. I loved the scene where Dawg & "D" came to the Dirty Dick to speak with Magnum. I have to admit I was holding my breath. Best part ever. Then the other best part was when Cait worked her magic and helped bring Magnum and his kids back together. Perfect ending. I think everyone will enjoy.

    I don't know how I missed this book while reading the Dirty Angels but I sure am glad I found it now. It was a book that kept me flipping virtual page's of the book. I am so glad to have this added story and enjoyed it so much. Go along on this emotional journey with Magnum and Cait as they discover new territory with each other. There is a villain that Cait asked him to help her to take care of. She is afraid to tell her father because of how he would react. And there is the fact that the couple is in hiding from everyone in their lives. This is a a romantic story with plenty of steam.

    Cait is Dawg's daughter and considered DAMC property. For years she's watched Magnum who is part of the Dark Knights and wanted him. Magnum is equally attracted to her but refuses to act on it. He's sixteen years older and not willing to risk the peace between the two clubs. Then one night she shows up in his bar and has a huge favor to ask him. She tells him she was at a work function when she started feeling ill. One of the boss' sons takes her home. When she wakes up she's in a motel room with no memory of how she got there. Then she's sent a video of her having sex with an unidentified man and that's when she realizes she was drugged and raped. She asks Magnum to help her find the man responsible. He knows it's a bad idea but finally agrees. The story is awesome and made for some excellent reading.

    I have loved each and every one of Jeanne St. James books. She never ceases to amaze me with the way she includes all aspects of the lives of her character's. Her books draw you in and leave you wanting more. I knew Magnum would be great but I was not expecting the emotional rollercoaster this book brought. Magnum and Cait experience anger,worry,passion,relief and finally the greatest love. Jeanne has brought us right into the fold and makes your heart run wild at every turn of a page.

    Caitlin, is the daughter of Dawg, who did even know of him until he found her when she was fifteen. Once together, Caitlin was part of the DAMC, so part of the life. Since first meeting her, ten years ago, Magnum felt the attraction, but she was sixteen years younger than him, and even though his MC the Dark Knights and the Dirty Angels were strong allies; club property was club property. Straight out of college, Caitlin has an internship exactly where she wants to be. Unfortunately, after the use of a date rape drug, Caitlin is attacked , there is a video that can cause everything she has to be destroyed in . Caitlin is terrified her father Dawg will cause mayhem and end up in prison, so she asks Magnum to help her. Even though this is against all MC politics, it certainly could cause war, Magnum does without letting his own club know. It soon becomes obvious that both have the deepest of feelings for each other, it no way can end well. Totally recommend this stand alone.

Highly recommend you dread the Down & Dirty series first so you know who all the characters are but not necessary because Jeanne St. James fills you in through out the story.     Magnum is a character that you get tiny bits and pieces of throughout the DAMC series and you say to yourself...damn girl...I need him!!! Well, so did our girl here...she needed help, but getting DAMC help or even police help would mean her family would find out what’s going on...so she goes to the one man she knows in her soul will help her...Magnum. Ohhh did mumma love this one. Fast and definitely different from the DAMC books, but great all the same. Their relationship was front and centre and they learned to trust each other completely. A great read and I’m looking forward to some more if these Dark Knights!!! Now on the Trip and Ms St.James’ newest MC series!!!
