    This book. This freaking book had me glued to it from the first page and basically never let go. The chemistry between Dom and Gabby was electric, all consuming, and just irresistible. Dom is a contract killer who owns a gentlemen's club as part of his legitimate business and Gabby has been a dancer at his club for the last 4 years. Despite their instant attraction all those years ago, they have only shared one incendiary kiss a year prior to where the story begins. Once they do give in, the relationship is explosive and a joy to read.

    There are so many times where the hero of the book is just *everything* and the heroine falls flat for me. I was thrilled to find V Theia as she has a way of writing heroes that are completely swoon-worthy, but more importantly, heroines that are smart, capable, funny, and just women that I would want to hang out and be friends with. Heck, as this book is set in her 'Manhattan' series, and Gabby's girl gang includes Sena, India and Catie from prior books (and if you haven't read those yet, you really need to because they are excellent), I would adore being friends with ALL of them.

    The action of the plot was well written, and I never felt that it was superfluous or overshadowing the relationship. It provided the right balance of tension and conflict, and although there is some suspension of disbelief required, the payoff was well worth it.

    "She’s been my saint and salvation, my joy and pleasure. She’s in every inch of my being."

    I love this author. Her storyline and characters are always amazing. This story felt different but in a good way. Theia's heroes are always alpha, and Dominic is no exception. He is a hitman, and therefore very dangerous. Gabriella is a girl working as a dancer on a club owned by Dominic. Gabby has always had a crush on her boss. Their chemistry was amazing. I loved them together and the way he loved her. His dark soul loved her so sweet. And the epilogue!

    This can be read as a standalone. But I really recommend the other books in this series. I love these girls so much and their men are swoon worthy. They all have very interesting stories.

    Manhattan Target hit the bullseye of my heart. It takes us back into the Manhattan World and we get to meet the hitman with a heart. Of course, his heart only beats for his Gabriella.

    Let's see if we can find some similarities between a hitman and a man in love.
    HITMAN:
    1. Patient- waits for the exact right moment
    2. Stealthy- quietly sneaks up on you and bam
    3. Prideful- takes pride in a job accomplished
    MAN IN LOVE:
    1. Patient- 4 years of waiting
    2. Stealthy- 1 burning kiss and then over a year later, bam
    3. Prideful- he takes pride in all his woman has accomplished on her own and doesn't try and change her

    The love story of Dominic and Gabriella was a scorching hot joy to watch unfodd. The thing I enjoy the most about this authors writing is she takes sensual up about 1000 notches and also she lets these tough alpha men fall hard in love and become vulnerable, yet not weak with their women.

    I think this line in the book does such an incredible job of wrapping up this story and all the deliciousness within the pages..... "Love slides into the empty parts when least expected".

    I highly recommend Manhattan Target. This book is a complete standalone, but all the books in the Manhattan World are gold and keep building and fortifying the relationships found within the pages.

    When I think that V. Theia books can’t get any better, she writes another gem—Manhattan Target is no different. Everything she writes is pure perfection. I fell in love with Gabby and Dominic right away. There was so much chemistry between the two characters from the start. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. This book had it all drama, romance, and danger.     Thoroughly enjoyed this read! Dom and Gabby are just too good for one another. And hello the opening moments of this story had me taken aback for sure. Wedding, but NOT with the Hero. It was amazing to continue on reading and see how it all lead up to that moment that wanted me to curse and not flip to the next page. Dramatic I know. However in all seriousness, thus is a truly top notch read that adds a whole extra level to the Manhattan world. Dominic and Gabby were perfect counter parts that needed no improvement what so ever. Not to mention, I’m loving how this is tying into the Renegade Souls MC series. That little tidbit was not missed!
    Don’t skip it, read it. You’ll love it just as much as I do.

    I adore this series and all of the people in it.

    Hitman/club owner Dominic has known Gabby is it for him from their first meeting, he has just been biding his time (years!) waiting for her to come around. Dom and Gabby are a great couple, even when she makes life hard for him by not thinking about the consequences of her actions. The second part of the epilogue—oh my heart! Dom really is everything!

    Another hit from V Theia ! I don’t think this woman is capable of writing a bad book. I was stand-offish because Gabriella was a stripper but there is a good reason and she doesn’t get totally naked . She is not promiscuous at all either . The cliche stripper does not apply to Gabby. Dominic runs the strip club that Gabrielle dances at but he is also a hitman. Of course these two have sparks and I loved them together . Dom was a killer but he was so soft with Gabrielle . She was his one soft spot in the world . I could not put this book down . I can’t wait to read more from this author!

    There are no words to discribe the love i feel for Gabriella and Dominic. You can feel the passion they have for eachother.
    The book is captivating but also fun.
    V. Theia cant do wrong in my book.
    The only - i have is the ending was to fast and rushed. I would love if the last 3 to 4 chapters would be longer.
    I hope Cris and Chiara will get their own book.

    How to start!?
    Well with the start of the story saying Dom is at Gabbys wedding. It threw me. I struggled to get into the story, thinking he was choosing to use the woman he loves.

    Erm, I was wrong. He didnt choose that. Gabby is independant and headstrong. She acts then thinks later.

    Dom is the Alpha of Alphaholes. He loves and loves hard, and there is no doubts that he loves Gabby with his whole being.

    I still love Tom and Mack as my Manhattan couple. But these two are fairly close
