- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2022This is a terrific group of stories that were so interesting to read. I will definitely be coming back to read these again.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2024This collection of 3 novels and a novella focus on wedding venues tied to gay couples who own them. The first two bring these couples together through trying times. The second two focus on pairs at each location who find their life partners. With HEAs at t he end, the narratives include great descriptions, dialog, and passion.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2022This is an excellent series that you will enjoy from start to finish. Each book has a different feel to it and each is absorbing in its own unique way. Ms. Jamison delivers well-crafted story arcs across the board and creates multi-dimensional, endearing couples for us to root for in each one. There is a subtle political undertone and message about LGBTQ+ rights in these stories, but it works within the context of the romances and never overwhelms them. The writing here is on point in communicating the characters’ feelings to the reader, subtly but powerfully.
The characters take center stage and that's how it should be. If I had to call out a favorite, though, it would be Avery from Faking a Groom. He’s alone, desperate to be seen and loved but doesn’t believe that anyone would want to know him, be with him, or love him. Avery struggles to understand who he is and that there’s nothing “wrong” with how he views himself, how he feels, or how he wants to express that to the world around him. He is in pain and feels like he needs to hide. But with Rory’s encouragement, we get to watch Avery timidly come out of his shell over the course of the book, and it is a beautiful thing to see.
You can read each of these as a standalone, although I like them better in order. For example, Faking a Groom significantly features the main characters from Surprise Groom. You don’t have to read Surprise Groom first, but it makes more sense if you do. This is why a box set like this one is great. The books are all there in the order you should read them so you can effortlessly flow from one to the next. Highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2022I loved this entire series and was so happy to see all these books in one place! I love when I can start a series with wonderful characters and know that there are multiple books to keep me happy for a while and this box set delivered! I loved that the main characters were familiar in each story but with a different setting for each book (except for the novella that is included). While I love a good series set in one town or place, it was refreshing to get to know a whole new cast of secondary characters with each book and you really got to see the main characters in each story be their true selves in the places they were supposed to be and with the people they were meant to be with! All of the couples were super sweet with just the perfect amount of spice! DJ Jamison has created a wonderful shared world with the Marital Bliss series with outstanding writing and just the best characters! Grab up this box set and settle in for hours of reading!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2022This is several books and different stories but they all connect in some way. You have cowboys, wedding planners, politicians, bankers and several other types all gorgeous and hot for sure. Interesting read!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2022Surprise groom:
This was a great start to the series. I really enjoyed the best friends to enemies back to lovers. It was a fun play on it. Calebs and Julien’s story is bumpy but such a sweet HEA.
Wrangling a Groom:
Deigo and Wyatt fight what they once had. The chemistry is there and lovely. Sexy cowboys ,a barn and some lube . Was a very enjoyable sexy filled read.
Nobody’s Groom:
It was a fantastic bi awakening short story. Colby starts to question his sexuality when TJ starts working the ranch . Two sexy cowboys and wonderful sexual chemistry is just the kind of stuff i love to read.
Faking a Groom:
I think this was my favorite out of the entire series. Avery’s been forced to be quite about who he is and finding Rory again gets everything rolling. Their story is full of stress and love and so worth the read .
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2022This is an amazing collection of characters and unique love stories. It has a great mix of storylines, first rate steam, some drama and angst and wonderful happy endings. I especially loved Julien and Caleb from Surprise Groom, which was a nice twist on a fake relationship trope due to their friendship as kids which made it more realistic and sweet. The novella Nobody’s Groom was also a highlight TJ and Colby are fire🔥 an excellent enemies to lovers read. I loved all the couples and the variety of storylines plus the writing style is excellent. And I cannot leave out Wyatt and Diego because their story is super special…an excellent second chance romance with tons of heart and their chemistry is off the charts! Highly recommended the entire series!
I received an arc of this book and this is my honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2022The whole martital bliss series was OK for me. Not great, sometimes tediously long and drawn out, and other times unbelievable. But having them in one set does save some money and the new covers are an upgrade from the originals.
Nobody's Groom was probably my favorite because it didn't have the length of the rest of the novels. Surprise Groom and Faking a Groom were both fake fiance/husband tropes and were eerily similar to each other. I'm not a fan of one partner making life altering decisions for both instead of working together as a team.
Wrangling a Groom was an enemies to lovers story that was just cringy at times, but pulled it out somewhat at the end.
They were all OK, but nowhere near my favorite from this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Finds A Way.
MM, Fake Relationship, Friends to lovers, Second chance, Contemporary, Romance. A fantastic box set of 3 full length novels and 1 novella, they read as stand-alone's but having just binge read the entire box set I absolutely loved how the books worked with each other. Lots of great characters, easy to read page-turners that have been put together in this great box set, although I have previously read these stories, reading them again and following on from each other just reminded me how much I loved them all. A fantastic read with guaranteed HEA's
