This was the first book I read from the Ravaged Castle series and I loved it; I didn’t want this book to end! The banter and tension in this book was perfect. And when we met Starboy, I understood why so many people loved him. When it was Orion’s POV, I understood why he is the way he is. I was tearing up at the loneliness and longing that he felt. Layla becoming part of his family was the best thing for him growing up. I adored how much Orion loves Layla, and how he is willing to do anything for her. I also loved that Layla wanted to care for him the way he does for her. Making sure he was okay, being close to each other, making meals. It was all part of trust and vulnerability. It was beautiful to see how the characters matured and developed feelings for each other and that the years apart made them need eachother more. This was another amazing novel by Amanda Richardson, and I can’t wait to read more! Side note: I loved the playlist for this book and the parts where we got to see Kai made me really excited for his book.     Masked Sins is the fourth book in the Ravaged Castle Series by Amanda Richardson . Each book follows a different billionaire brother as he deals with a different taboo subject. In the previous books in the series, it is foreshadowed that Orion, the youngest Ravage brother, is pretty involved in the local BDSM community and that he's obsessed with his step sister, a local ballerina.

    I'm truly so in love with each of the Ravage brothers, it's ridiculous. I can't pick a favorite because they are all just so swoon-worthy!

    Technically The Ravaged Castle Series are "inter-connected stand alone novels", so you CAN read them out of order or even just read what interests you. The author does a great job of telling you pertinent information on all the books. Though I do recommend reading them in order, as each brother (and his relationship) pops in and out of each story with foreshadowing of their own story. So to make sure you pick up all the Easter Eggs dropped in previous books and to not be completely lost, the order is:
    - Prey Tell (Best friends little sister, primal play)
    - Marry Lies (Marriage of convenience/ forced proximity, voyeurism)
    - Ward Willing (Best friends daughter/ age gap/ legal guardian)
    - Masked Sins (Step Siblings, Sado-masochism)
    - Holy Hearts (Priest, Menage... Releasing in February!)

    Masked Sins introduces us to a masked social media influencer, Starboy1997, and a local ballet teacher and ballerina, Little Dancer aka Layla. Starboy posts informative videos of BDSM lifestyle behind the anonymity of a mask and never speaks, always just offers safe BDSM tips on the captions of the video while classical music plays in the background. Classical music that is Layla's favorite songs.

    Out of curiosity after a bad date, Layla decides to slide into Starboys DM's and they start an online exclusive power play relationship. She has absolutely no idea that Starboy is her step brother, whom she's had a rocky relationship with for the last 7 years ever since he ruined her audition for the Paris Ballet Company.

    There is a bit of LGBTQIA+ representation, as Layla identifies as Demisexual. I really appreciate how the author treated this identity with respect and explains several times some of the pitfalls of dating while demi. It is also hinted at that one of Layla's ballet students is a trans girl and that brings on discussions of bullying and authenticity.

    This books is a slow burn with plenty of tension and teasing, which is why i still rated it 5 🌶

    Seriously yall, the Ravaged Castle series is one of my all time favorite series!

    Orion is the youngest and may have a thing for his step sister.
    He ruins her chances as a ballerina at a big ballet company and she swears to never talk to him again. It kind of works, except they are family. But she keeps her distance from him for 7 years. Orion keeps his eye on her the whole time.
    When her father, Orions step father has some health issues they end up spending more time together. But she always has feelings for a guy she meet on line, that has a IG page dedicated to kink. They start talking and he offers to help her explore that side of herself. She is torn between Orion and the IG guy.
    Super sweet and spicy book. Love this series.

That was probably one of my favorite things about the book. I like the characters, the storyline. It was cute. The story didn’t happen as I was expecting it to RE certain things that takes place in the book w/ Starboy. But, also, the book played out exactly how I would’ve thought. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Spice is about a 2.5 🌶️. It was cool. Funny here and there. Solid story.

    If you're in it for the hot spice, you've found a good read. Buckle up and put away your safe word... while there's BDSM and Dom/Sub, it's consensual and I wouldn't consider anything trigger warning worthy.
    I'm not really into the brother and sister trope and at times I felt like the words stepbrother/stepsister/sis etc. were a bit much, over used or awkward and that could be that its just not my kink ;) ... I thank the stars that it's not something mentioned in depth in the spicier scenes, or it would have been book over for me.
    Writing was well done and overall story was great! I am reading this one first, so out of order, but they truly are stand alones as noted and not reading in order didn't create any confusion.
    I would recommend this one to my smut friends. ❤️

    The first book I read from the author and I am a goner. The story was intense with angst that kept me rooted for every ounce of interaction between the characters. The banter is the best part with the amazing plot complimenting it all. I enjoyed the story and would want to read all the other books by Amanda too.

    Orion and Layla have come a long way from where they started in the book and where it all ended. They are the characters that will make me happy if I meet them in future books anywhere. They have left that impression and made me love them so much.

    Orion’s dedication and Layla’s kindness are the heart of the story and the slow burn with a great chemistry is just wow. Do read triggers and this book can be read as standalone. You can go, and catch up with the brothers (in their own books) who have intrigued me a lot before or after reading this one.

    It’s a 4.5⭐️ for me.

    Edgar and Row-Row are hilarious!!
    Loved that Amanda included this twist. Cant wait to see who Kai rescued.

    Oh and the brotherly love and support, as always, so strong throughout the series. I'm a little sad that I've only got Kai's story left.
