    I have read well over 300 books within the last 2 years, and must say that Deborah Bladon has become one of my top 3 Authors over the last 2 year's. I simply LOVE her books!!     I loved this sweet, engaging romantic story. The characters were well developed and that says a lot considering this is just a 100 page book.

    Ryker and Lark.....

    Ryker is a top marketing executive at Matiz Cosmetics. He is sexy, successful, the star of all the women's dreams and a bit arrogant too. I admit he was hard to read at first and I wasn't sure that I liked him. His first scene with Lark left me frowning; I had to wonder if he even liked her at all. But my cynicism was cleared up quickly when Ryker's POV came into play. I completely fell in love with this sexy and charismatic man. He was definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its cover."

    Lark also works for Matiz. She has secretly crushed on Ryker for almost as long as she has worked at the company. Unfortunately she knows it's a bad idea to show her attraction to Ryker. He has a reputation that demands Lark keep her distance if she wants to be respected at work. It is difficult for her to keep her distance from him when they work for the same company. To make matters worse, Ryker is Lark's boss.

    Despite Lark's determination to not get involved, the memory of a shared kiss under the mistletoe at last year's Christmas party makes her resolve to stay away crumble.

    I very much enjoyed this short novella by Deborah. Although there were a few secrets, this was not an angsty novel. I loved watching Ryker and Lark's relationship develop into something solid. I stayed engrossed from beginning to end. I want to say again, I loved the romantic, fun and sexy side of Ryker.

    This story does take place around the holidays however I didn't get the feel of a Christmas romance. Still it was perfect.

    Deborah Bladon is an author I enjoy reading very much. I have read many of her books but the good thing is there are still many I haven't read yet. I'm looking forward it.

    Melt is another great read from Deborah Bladon! While short it is definitely SWEET AND HOT!! I love these two characters especially because neither one seems to be the stereotypical romance characters. These two remind me of an everyday couple. They are neither grossly wealthy (which I FLOVE my Alpha billionaire heroes - don't get me wrong) nor tragically debilitated. They are just two people who encountered one another at their office Christmas party, and then pined for the other while involved with other people. They both reach out -stretching their comfort zones slightly - and end up coming together because they've pined for the same thing for the past year. Just a short, but absolutely worthwhile read!!!
