Rock star Colton Remkus is out of his element.

    A mix of mystery and passion this story was well written and a great read. This standalone story was one I really enjoyed; and the mystery the author managed to keep throughout the entire story was so cool. There are times when the reader thinks that they have the answers but soon find out they are wrong! I love stories that keep me guessing but at the same time I am so wrapped up in the romance that I can’t decide what I like more. The characters are great and their chemistry is palpable. I enjoyed turning the pages in this story and I hope that we get a future up date from them at a later date. I just enjoyed them so much I would like the “check” in to where they are in life now.

    I’m not big on rocker romances, they have never done much for me, but the way the author wrote this story I found myself enjoying it. Colton was a great lead character, full of need and determination and Melody was the perfect balance for him. She was smart and focused; well until their connection with Colton started! The push and pull was wonderful.

    Brought together by the death of his father, Mel and Colt aren’t necessarily trusting of the other, but Colt brings Melody to his side when he needs help running the business that his father left to him. With a murderer still on the loose, and a timeline to maintain his position as CEO, they work together to get the Board on his side, but will they still be together when the murderer comes back into play? I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were well thought out, the plot was a bit apparent but that didn’t take away anything for me, and Colt still gets to be a Rockstar in the end. Thumbs up!
