I’m finally shedding the one-hit wonder fame after moving to White Picket Fences Records. I know what this opportunity means, but I can’t stop being me either. She’s former military and has been sent to protect me while also posing as my fake girlfriend for the press. There’s only one problem with the plan—on sight I want her, and she can’t stand me. I don’t know how I’m going to finish this tour, save my image, and make Ellington realize there’s nothing fake between us while also surviving my stalker.

Meeting Hayes Jennings on WPF Record’s private jet leaves me with a bad first impression even though the chemistry between us fires me up in ways I’ve never experienced before. It doesn’t matter because he’s a job and a playboy. I don’t do bad boys—consider it a lesson learned.

I’ve been in worse spots than this before and come out the other side. I just need to get through this tour with Hayes while keeping it professional, except in front of the cameras when I have to pretend to adore him. If only that were as difficult as I want it to be.

    The h is former military (helicopter pilot) and is trying to find her
    way now that she's discharged. She gets hired by a security 
    company and her first assignment is to pretend to be the H's
    girlfriend, clean up his image, and protect him from his unknown

    Hayes has the worst reputation a rock star can have, groupies, teaching hotel rooms, drunk blackouts. Ellington is being sent to protect him from a stalker but what is using her to clean up his image too. But the moment Hayes meets Ellington he knows he has found his one and will need no help staying on the straight and narrow for his woman, if only the stalker was as easy. Great read.

    I'm loving this series! Ember Davis knocked it out of the park with this book. Bad boy Rockstar Hayes meets Bodyguard Ellington. Right from the minute Hayes sees El he KNOWS she's the other half of his soul. But his reputation precedes him and El is not impressed. El's assignment is to be his fake love at first sight girlfriend and protect Hayes from a stalker. Not fall in love with the handsome and sexy rocker. But can she? No spoilers. But I'll say this.     I'm real picky about my rock star romances that I read.
    Hayes literally is every typical rock star romance character I don't like to read. However, I've read PLENTY of Ember Davis books, so I had to put aside my reservations because I know this author and she doesn't give us cheating romances.
    With that being said, Hayes does live it up and live the life of a rockstar. Partying, drinking, and trashing hotel rooms...basically a PR nightmare! With his crazy living he's also attracted a crazy stalker as well. WPF Records solution is to insert a bodyguard to stay closer to Hayes, but have them portraying a girlfriend. All the problems are solved!
    At least all of WPF Records problems are solved.
    Ellington on the other hand has a whole slew of new problems. After leaving the military, she's trying to find her footing once again. Taking this job should've been easy, except feelings start to get involved. We all know feelings make things complicated and dangerous, especially with a stalker on the loose determined to have Hayes for themselves.
    Really good addition to the rest of the family we've already come to know and love.
    Okay, I do have a complaint on this one though. The sister and the competition and dislike for each other. What's up with that? Like I get sibling rivalry type things but I wanted to know what Ellington's sisters problem was and why she thought her sister's life effected her in any capacity.
