Miles had been burned before and decided that it wasn't worth the hassle of a relationship. He had the family business to run with his younger brother and stepmother and had plenty of offers for one night of pleasure. That was good enough for him. Or so he thought.

Cady had been skittish about putting herself out there in the dating world since she had a stalker. Instead she spent all her time in a crappy job with a boss that took advantage of her nice nature. When she sends out a mass text with her new phone number to everyone in her contacts, she didn't realize her roommate's brother was on that list.

What started out as a mistake turned into the best thing either of them could ever wish for. Months of talking they finally get to have their moment to meet when Cady goes to Miles's home for the holidays. That's when the true sparks start to fly.

It was a wonderful holiday love story with lots of steam, some sexy cowboys, and the perfect happy ever after ending.

Cady, Julie's roommate, is having problems of her own. It isn't till she gets a new phone and sends a text blast of her new number that she connects with Miles. A friendship is born. Late night talks, texts and pictures of the ranch. When she showed up at the ranch for Christmas, it was an instant attraction. What the rest of the family saw was love. It took leaving to realize their feelings. Trust the family to help them get their HEA.

I like the love story and how it starts out as phone conversations over several months. I found the story mostly believable, other than some dude ranch and horseback riding impossibilities. Most of the language was believably American, but every so often I was taken right out of the story by some UK phrase or term that I had to look up to understand, or the multi-generation Colorado man saying "y'all" which is a southern term not used in Colorado (except by people who are from the South and have moved to Colorado).

Angela Stevens has written a 5-star book that is the story about Cady and Miles. Cady and Miles have been talking to each other for 4 months but have never met in person. After losing her job right before Christmas, Her roommate Jules talks her into going home with her for Christmas. There was a connection between Cady and Miles and once they met in person there is an intense attraction that neither ignores. Cady knows that they only have a few days and she is going to enjoy her time with Miles. Cade, Mile's brother comes up with a plan to get Cady to come back and he calls Cady to get her input on a new job for the ranch. Unknown to her this job is for her.
Will Miles let the past stop him from having a relationship with Cady?
Can Cady get her H.E.A. with Miles?
This book was such a wonderful read with the way that Cady and Miles talked to each other for months before meeting for the first time. The attraction between them after meeting is so intense
I would recommend this book to anyone.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I LOVED this book. Miles runs the family guest ranch in Colorado. He is in his mid-30's and divorced. He is a player and does one-night stands. Cady lives in Virginia with Miles' sister, Jules. Cady has the boss from h-e-double toothpicks! She gets a second phone so she doesn't have to answer her boss's calls. Cady sends out a blanket message to most on her contact's list (including Miles). When Miles calls, the two quickly start up with nightly chatting and texting. After losing her job, Cady goes to spend Christmas Jule's and family since her own family is on a cruise. She is excited to finally be able to meet Miles.

The rest will keep you glued to your e-reader. I loved the dual POV format. It is my favorite. It allows me to connect better to the characters to fully understand them.

This is a spicy read and hence I highly recommend it to anyone over the age of 18.
