I just finished reading Mirror Maze co-authored by our M.W. Brown (Mia) and Erin Lee. This is a really fun book to read, written from the alternating points of view of two sisters, Zoe and Amy, one who is dead. They communicate with each other as both struggle through different mazes, one the maze of life's struggles and tragedies, the other through afterlife's maze ("The life you led created this place."). This is a book hard to define in terms of genre, bordering on horror, psychological horror and paranormal, but not firmly cemented in any of those. What is amazing, aside from the story itself, is how remarkably these two authors wrote a book that reads as if it was written by one person.

I'm still giggly because two of my most favorite authors decided to create a work of art, together.

Their writing styles are so in sync, can't tell who wrote what.

This novel is beyond good, it swept me from reality into a world of mazes and choices. Each chapter was very ominous, I involuntarily held my breath during each one.

This book is a standalone, but I anxiously await Refraction, Book Two because there is a need to know what happens next in the twins' lives.

The storyline is unique and very intriguing. The writing is flawless. Once you start reading this book you will not be able to put it down. I can actually feel the grief and pain from both sisters. They are both lost in their own way. Zoe is deceased and lost in a maze trying to save her twin sister Amy. Amy is alive but the pain of losing her twin in an accident that she blames herself for. Wow is all I can say!

I am familiar with both of these writers, so imagine how excited I was to see a co-write. Their parts are totally seamless, to the point of it being impossible to tell who wrote what. The two authors who wrote this book did a seamless job on the writing especially in choosing to do it using alternating points of view. I was on the edge of my seat as I was brought into the world of twins and how their minds think as well as the bond that can be quite strong and what happens when you lose that person who is so connected to you. Highly recommend to everyone to read this book and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is about two sisters. One ends up in a maze. The story will hold ur interest. I started reading this book and I couldn't stop until I finished. I had to finish to find out what happened. A very intriguing story. Loved it. I'm sure you will too. Highly recommend this book

Oh this book was incredible, even though there was two different Authors writing this story, it was impossible to tell any difference. Incredible job!! Loved the characters and the ever changing descriptions of Charon. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Amy and Zoe in the next book!
